prologue- sucked into Shrek

3rd person pov

Cheri hallow is as usual getting ready for a movie night but this time her sister is watching over her

Cheri's pov

"You don't have to watch me like a hawk you know" I said she narrowed her eyes at me "yes I do otherwise I'll end up finding you on the floor again" she said

'The only times I watch movies are on the weekends she's just worrying over Nothing' I thought to myself I picked out a DVD

I plopped it into the dvd player "what did you put in" she asked "Shrek" I said "what..." I said as I saw her with eyes on me

"Your creepy stop looking at me like that" I said and she started giving me a noogie "what was that you little brat" she said

I then happened to see the light shining from the TV "gah..." I yelled as I was immediately being sucked in by my feet "huh...Cheri!" Elizabeth said and tried pulling me back in

"Agh just let go There's no way your going to be able to pull me back in" I said she struggled I could feel her grip was losing strength

We both ended up getting sucked into the tv but we ended up getting separated from each other then I blacked out

3rd person pov

Short version

View narrator...

"Once upon a time there was a baby girl who was born a princess but there was a curse put on the princess and the only thing that could Break it was true loves first kiss...." record scratches

"Heh ha...like that's ever gonna happen" the ogre said tearing out the page with the True loves kiss wiping his royal highness with it "what a load of..." the toilet flushed flushing out what he was about to say

The ogre was named Shrek he looked over his swamp and sighed then went to go take a mud shower he also put it in his mouth and spit it out

Time skip...

Meanwhile...

A certain red haired teenager was lying on the ground unconscious with her sword on her waist she slowly started waking up

Cheri's pov

'Agh my head hurts where am I' I thought to myself "wait a minute" I said looking around my surroundings "this happened again are you serious" I said

I spoke in angry French and calmed down about a second or two "ok ok just calm down breathe" I said and calmed down

"Ok now I should probably find out how to navigate this place" I said and walked around to try to get a feeling of where I could be

I heard yelling and I saw donkey 'ah so I am in the Shrek movie' I thought to myself I ran over and also saw Shrek

"By lord farquad you are to move to a proper resettlement facility" the guard said while the other knights shook as Shrek walked closer to them

"Really you and what army" Shrek said looking behind and looking back at the guard the guard looked back to see he was alone he ran off yelling

I started laughing my ass off startling the two making them turn towards "oh my god that's hilarious" I said out loud not realizing they spotted me

"Oh is that so why would that be hilarious" a familiar voice said as I turn and saw Shrek with his arm's crossed trying to intimidate me

I crossed my arms as well "you trying to scare me There's no point cause I've pretty much seen everything weird" I said

He looked surprised but then turned walking away from us "hey can I talk to you I must say you were really really something" donkey said

"Are you talking to" Shrek turned around to face us bur donkey was already behind him while I just followed "me...?" Shrek said

He turned around and saw donkey making him startled "yes I was talking to you" he said I just blanked out not bothering to listen to the rest of the conversation

"Why are you following me especially you" he said pointing to me "I'll tell you why" donkey said yep he's going to start singing

"🎶Cause I'm all alone There's no one left beside me, my problems have all gone There's no one to deride me...but you gotta have friends 🎶" donkey was cut off by Shrek "stop signing"

I shrugged my shoulders "I'm just coming along cause I'm bored and you guys look rather interesting" I said smirking knowing what would happen

"Ugh it's no wonder you don't have any friends" Shrek said "well your one to talk you don't have any friends either" I whispered under my breath

Without realizing we were already at the swamp at shrek's home "can I stay with you" donkey said "wh..what" Shrek said

"Can I stay with you please" donkey said "of course" Shrek said "really" donkey said "he doesn't mean it" I said to donkey "exactly" Shrek said

"Please you don't know what it's like to be considered a freak" donkey said as Shrek had a raised eyebrow "oh well maybe you do but that's why you gotta let me stay please please" he said

"Ok ok but one night only" he said "oh thank you" Donkey said as he passed Shrek I just sat outside and waited for Donkey

I saw him with his ears down "you'll be fine I'll be your friend Donkey" I said "hey thanks your real cool what's your name" he asked

"Cherise hallow but I go by Cheri" I said "well cheri I hope we can get by outside" he said "nah I'm pretty used to sleeping outside just stargazing" I said breathing in the fresh air as I started drifting off into a deep and peaceful sleep
