3rd person pov

Cheri hallow was losing her temper and that was making the curse worse on her she kicked the door open to the assembly

Cheri's pov

"Ogre" the headmaster said in surprise "that's right I'm the winner and were gonna do whatever it is their doing" Shrek said

"Now where can I find Arthur pendragon" Shrek said speaking into the megaphone he took from the headmaster

The students pointed upwards "oh wait..now oof" Arthur was now hanging on a torch post while they were laughing

"You should be ashamed of yourself" donkey said "I didn't do it they did" lancelot said pointing towards the nerds

I growled ready to snap at any moment "please don't eat me" Arthur said then the students and teachers started to change "eat him"

Shrek pulled him down "I'm not here to eat him" Shrek said which the others said which they whined in utter disappointment

I was really about to lose it "time to pack up your jammies and toothbrush your going to be king of far far away" Shrek said "what" Arthur said

"Artie a king more like the king of loserville" lancelot said I had a quick remark "well its better than being the douche you are" I said smirking

"What'd you just say to me" lancelot said I let the fire burn showing my anger "don't make me angry or I'll do worse than burn you" I said annoyed

I calmed down 'what is up with me I don't usually act like this' I thought to myself then Arthur went to say his speech I'm surprised he didn't say he loved Guinevere

"You just overdid it" Shrek said pulling Arthur while me, donkey and puss followed from behind

"I think it was well versed" I said "you think so" Arthur said with a smile "I'm usually one to butcher things but that was a great speech" I said

"Thanks Cheri" he said as we were on our way to the ship then I remember the incident that is about to happen 'I still can't swim hopefully someone will save me before I drown' I thought to myself

We were on the ship Arthur was pretty excited me I was fearing about the incident yet to come

"I can't wait till we get there there will be princesses, parties, princesses" Arthur said I just shivered thinking about Sinking in the cold water

"Hey you ok?" Arthur asked seeing me shaking "yeah just a little cold is all thank you for the concern though Arthur" I said lying through my teeth I was afraid of drowning

"You can just call me Artie you don't have to keep calling me Arthur" he said with a small smile I smiled back but it would be a fake smile

He walked away to talk some more then I felt the ship jerk next thing I see is Arthur at the helm of the ship

I stared out at the sharp rocks and started shaking 'I'm too afraid my wings won't come out' I thought to myself

"Shrek" donkey said as we drifted closer to the sharp rocks we crashed into them and I immediately sunk

Arthur's pov

We had just crashed into the rocks and I swam to the surface 'wait where's..." I thought "Cheri" I said and dove to find her

I immediately saw her Sinking to the sea level of the ground I pulled her up and swam to the surface "Cheri, Cheri wake up" I said

I stared at her and checked if she was breathing "come on" I said and did some chest compressions she started coughing up water "That's it are you ok" I said

Cheri's pov

I woke up and looked at Arthur who was looking down at me with concern 'it's so cold' I thought to myself as I shivered

He felt my hands "your freezing cold" he said and covered his hands with mine hoping to warm me up but to no avail "so cold" I said shivering

To my surprise he pressed his lips against mine my cheeks redden and my eyes widened but I kissed back he pulled away

"Did that warm you up" he said my cheeks were burning red "um yeah" I said "if you couldn't swim why didn't you say anything" he said

"I...it's complicated" I said "So you can't even tell me why" he said I nodded and looked away "I see how it is" he said and walked away leaving me alone

"Cheri are you ok?" Donkey asked "my curse should have taken hold of me today since it's my birthday but...now it's broken" I said

"Oh so Artie kissed you" puss said I blushed and walked away hopefully I can settle this dispute with Arthur I hope he doesn't hate me

"Where do you think your going" Shrek said "far far away from you" Arthur said "you come back here young man and I mean it" Shrek said

I shook my head and let my wings out I flew through the woods to try and find Arthur until I finally found him

Arthur's pov

'I thought she was supposed to be different I guess she's just like the rest of them' I thought to myself "are you mad at me" I heard and looked up

I saw Cheri sitting on a branch "how did you get up there" I asked then I noticed the wings on her back 'why couldn't she have flown to shore' I thought to myself

"I was too afraid to let my wings free and I have a deathly fear of water always have I'm sorry for making you angry" she said looking sad

I sighed "it's not that I'm mad at you persay it's just I thought you would at least trust me with things like these" I said

"I'm sorry...thank you for saving me at least" she said with a small smile on her face "your welcome" I said then she jumped down and joined me
