Uhhhhhh. Oki. This is gonna sound real' weird. So. Urm. Don't judge, I sort of ship them together. But there better off as friends. There denmates, so it's kind of Sweet Home Alabama. Though, the reasons why this is better than Cleril or Sunny having a partner is they are both single pringle's and they can comfort each other about it. (I ship Quinter, Moonjou, Pertle, and Glorybringer, Ripnami, and I guess Starspeaker)
Positive: Clay is the only one that stood up for Sunny. He listened to her, and Sunny seemed to trust Clay more than Starflight, even though I DO ship Sunnyflight. Clay also called dibs first to sleep next to Sunny, instead of Starflight. If they DID become canon, it would be developed and fairly healthy. Also, when I was younger and stupid, that moment when they were gazing at the stars and comet together in The Brightest Night, I shipped them. Dang.
Although, I don't see them romantically, and there both seemingly Aro, sooooo... I don't ship it, and it is only a friendship. BUT I think it would be better than Cleril.
Negative: It is severely underrated, and they are FRIENDS.
