I tried hard and possible to keep a laughing face and a warm approach towards the Lady the General had told me to keep an eye on. Making sure she is comfortable.
It was a difficult task to keep a good aura as we were trained to have no feelings or show any kind of love towards anyone.
Finally, We got to the mansion and I was free to go back to my normal stern aura and my manner of brutality.
" where are we going now?" I heard the tiny voice of Lina whisper to me as she followed me behind and my face twitched at her annoying question, I was about to explode in a bad manner when I suddenly remembered that this was the General's guest and I had to be nice to her in order to avoid any troubles from the General .
" You mean where are you going? Well, I am taking you to the guest room where you will stay for the night". I answered praying hard that she doesn't ask any more question.
" Seriously you may be helping me but all this are without my consent. I want to go home. Please let me go to my apartment." Belina pleaded but I said nothing about it.
I turned to her and her hair covered most of her face. She felt disturbed and angry and I couldn't help but want to assist her home but I knew that was something very impossible as I could get harmed by the General.
I pointed the guest room to her and immediately walked away to avoid her overbearing and unnecessary questions with those innocent face of hers.
BELINA'S POV.

Zuk Zuk showed me a room that he said I was going to be staying for the night and immediately dashed off as if afraid that I could harm him.
I walked into the room having no choice. At least I was just going to spend the night here and leave to my humble apartment tomorrow. I looked around and the room was large and spacious, well decorated with interior designs. The room was double times my apartment put together and I felt really unsafe and uncomfortable.
The gaint sized bed was what seemed to be the only cool thing I liked in this room. Although the bed was huge but it's comfy layers seemed quite exquisite to me. I looked around the room with much admiration, never had I seen a room as beautiful as this one seemed.
As i bounced unto the bed, the door creeked opened and I saw the shadow of General Black walk in to the room. I quickly folded myself on the bed sheet in fear as he drew closer.
"Stop it... It gets me angry. It's not like I am going to kill you or harm you" I heard the General say as he halted by the window side.
" What am I doing here?" I summoned courage to ask as I gulped in spit that ran down my salivary gland easily .
" You should be thanking me for saving you from the public disgrace that was about to befall you not quite long ago Lina" The General said letting out a devilish grin.
" Thank you. I told zuk Zuk that I was going to refund your money if y....
" I couldn't complete my words when he harshly interrupted.
" Did I ask you to refund my money. Do I look hungry that such an amount can help me. You finally succeeded in getting me angry tonight " The General said in a rage controlled voice and emotion and I couldn't help but want to disappear. A lot of thought began to rush through my mind. I imagined him strangling me or beating me up or stabbing me and I began to shiver the more as his presence became even more intense and domineering in the room.
"Urrghh.. You freak.. You are making me feel terrible. I am sorry I had to yell at you Lina. I didn't mean that, I was only trying to help you out and make you feel comfortable here at Newland city so that you can forget about Zublong very quickly" The general added leaning close and going down on his knees.
The only feeling I felt at that time was nothing but absolute shock. How did he know I was from Zublong and how does he know I came here to start a new life in order to forget about the incident at Zublong.
"what am I even saying isnt that why they call him the general? He know everything right? That he must have known about my horrible acts in the past.. No. no.. no.. This can't be real" I heard my inner man whisper into my head and I couldn't say anything but steer at the General imagining how terrible he must be thinking I am now.
" I think you need some rest Lina, I am going to excuse you. You've had a long day." General black said as he placed me on the bed and tucked me in properly before leaving the room.
I laid on the bed feeling uneasy. The picture of Catherine re appeared in my head again and her soft voice echoed in my hears. Tears rolled down my eyes and this went on for a while before finally falling asleep.
GENERAL'S POV.

Grey Ray stood at the entrance of the room waiting and rushed to me immediately I came out.
" What are you plans? Whatever they are.... you have to be quick with them because we need the truth ASAP" Ray said out loud into ears.
" Ray I know exactly what I am doing. If we rush the process on her. It's going to affect her and it won't yield any positive results. You have to take it cool and that's exactly what I am doing. And by the way, I don't want anyone close to her room or asking her questions untill she leaves" I said to Ray and walked away hastintly avoiding anymore provoking discussions.
GREY RAY'S POV

I couldn't hold it seeing General going into Lina's room. And seeing general acting strange and creepy with his actions and words made me doubt him even more.
I didn't know if I could trust him. I had known him for long to be a man of no emotion and feelings. He promised to handle the case but now why was he acting strange all of a sudden. Why was he halting in the investigations .
He might be powerful but I am not going to let him leave this case in such a manner in which it seems likes he going to do.
" Zuk zuk follow me".
