CHIFUYU’S POV
There is this particular girl in our class, Aomine Y/N's her name. She's a very quiet person and rarely interacts with anyone which is why she is the outcast of the class.
I never talked to her either but she seems like a friendly girl, she just doesn’t talk much with others. But today Aomine-san seemed to be different.
Usually she comes to every lesson on time, yet today she's late for the first time ever. What happened?
Even after fifteen minutes she didn't come to our class. Nobody seems to notice, not even the sensei. "Sensei..." "Yes Matsuno-san?"
"The class began fifteen minutes ago and Aomine-san's still not here. I'll look for her." He allowed me to go which i did. I already feel sorry for her. Literally no one noticed that she wasn't there.
I'm looking around the school, unfortunately I couldn't find her. Maybe she didn't feel too well and went home... but I don't think Aomine-san is the kinda person that would just go without saying anything to the teachers atleast.
Why am I even worrying that much?
I almost give up when I suddenly heard something. It’s Aomine-san's voice. Her voice comes from the school toilets.
At first I didn't want to go in because it's the girl's toilet but I bursted in because she's clearly─
"Aomine-san? Where are you? I'm Matsuno Chifuyu from your class." I open the doors one by one until I reach the last door and see Aomine-san... crying. "Why are you─"
"M-Matsuno-san...", she says, clearly shocked and quickly wipes her tears away, "w-why are you even here?" "I'm sorry but it was a bit strange that you of all people didn't come to class. So I went and was looking for you." "But why...?"
Why? That's a good question...
"I dunno... I just got kinda worried cuz normally you're always in class on time." She stands up and looks at me with her teary eyes. "I'm sorry... I always cause problems to other people. Forgive me, Matsuno-san."
"No no, there's nothin' to apologize about... Let's just get back to class." Together we went back to our class. Aomine-san's a pretty girl, not gonna lie and she also seems to be very friendly. Maybe...
"Hey Baji!", I greet my best friend Baji and ask him a couple of minutes later if Aomine-san could eat lunch with us. "Who?" "Aomine-san... She's the outcast of our class but she appears to be a really nice girl so I thought she could eat with us."
Baji just smirks.
"Do ya have a crush on that girl or what?" "What the fuck... no. I just feel bad for her. No one deserves to be ignored like that..." "Whatever", Baji laughs and at this point I know I can't convince him otherwise anytime soon.
Then I go towards Aomine-san's desk and ask her friendly if she likes to eat her lunch with us. At first she was very hestitant but answers, "Don't I ruin the atmosphere with my... presence?"
It was sad that she thinks of herself so lowly. I don't know why but I want to be friends with her. Not just because I pity her but because she seems to be a genuinely nice person.
"Absolutly not! Otherwise I wouldn't come to your desk and ask you or not?", I smile at her question. She then nods and follows me. After that I introduce her to Baji.
It was funny how Baji immediately starts talking to her. The way she gets overwhelmed by his extroverted character and looks at me every now and then was cute. She indeed was a overall cute person but nobody even tries to get to know her.
"We're officially friends now", I say to Aomine-san and give her a high five. "R-Really...? You don't mind being... you know... like friends with someone like me?" "What are ya talkin' about?!", Baji laughs out loud and smacks her back. She gasps at his sudden action.
