They were still sailing to Jaya. Everyone was relaxing while Usopp searched for the island with binoculars.

Luffy: "Still don't see it, Usopp?"

Usopp: "No, I don't see it yet."

Zoro: "This Jaya island isn't that far, right?"

Nami: "Yeah, since the weather has been stable for a while now, we should already be in the island's climate."

Y/N: "That means that Jaya's a spring island."

Chopper: "It feels nice and warm. Spring weather's nice. It looks like the seagulls are enjoying it, too."

Y/N: "Hm?"

Chopper: "What's wrong?"

Y/N: "Nothing, but I though I heard something. Kinda like a bullet..."

There were some seagulls flying above the Going Merry, but they suddenly fell lifeless on the ship.

Chopper: "AAHH!! THEY WERE SHOT!!"

Luffy: "Oh, let's make yakitori!"

Usopp: "Shot? I didn't hear any gunfire."

Chopper pulled out a bullet from a seagull, with some tweezers.

Chopper: "Look, I found a bullet! Considering the direction that they were flying, the bullets came from the direction the ship's facing!"

Nami: "Are you saying that shots came from an island that we can't even see yet? That's impossible, Chopper."

Chopper: "But I was watching them the whole time."

Usopp: *Chuckles* "Then what kind of eyesight, sniping skills and rifle do you think this sniper has? They were shot somewhere else and just happened to fall now."

Y/N noticed that Chopper was still worried, so he placed a hand on his shoulder.

Y/N: "Don't worry, Chopper. Whatever or whoever killed these seagulls, I won't let them hurt our crew."

Chopper: "Y/N..." *Smiles* "Thanks!"

Time Skip

They finally made it to Jaya. The childish quartet were getting excited.

Luffy: "Wow! Cool! I see a neat-looking town!"

Usopp: "Hey, hey, doesn't it look kinda like a resort?"

Chopper: "Resort?!"

Y/N: "Hurry up, Merry!"

Nami: "Yeah, it makes me feel like I want to stick around a bit."
