"You're bad."

"What did I do?"

"You're very bad, master."

"It wasn't my fault."

"It was. You ate last slice of pizza."

"You're just being a baby. Grow up."

Gulf gasped offended, "I'm not a baby."

"Yeah right. Maybe I would believe that if I didn't know you."

"You don't know me."

"I do. You're Gulf Kanawut, a baby."

"If you say that again, I'll hit you."

Mew said mockingly, "Oh gosh, I'm so scared. See I'm trembling in fear."

"You should be. I can be very mean." Gulf said with a pout.

"Yeah, you look really mean with that cute pout."

Gulf blushed at the compliment and felt himself regress a little because of the praise, "I'm cute? My pout is cute?"

"No, it's not. You sure love compliments, don't you?"

"I do. Gulfie does."

"Gulfie?"

"Hmmm."

"Why are you refering to yourself in third person. It's weird."

Gulf stood up and went to his room. He locked the door and tried to calm himself down. Whenever he would regress in age, he referred to himself in third person and ended acting like a child. Usually stress was the only trigger for this but since he had started living with Mew, praise turned out to be another trigger. Last week when he had fallen sick, he had regressed a little too much and though most of the time he remembered everything that had happened or he had done while being in that mindset but this time he could only recollect bits and pieces.

He had been hyperventilating as soon as he gained consciousness. He was worried Mew would realize what was wrong with him and kick him out but Mew didn't have any inkling of what was going on. He had been weirded out by Gulf but he didn't say anything on the matter so Gulf let it go in hope Mew will forget all about it. Mew had been ignoring him after taking care of him while recovered and to be honest Gulf preferred it that way. Not having to make small talks or pretend to be okay was relieving.

Most of the time, Mew kept to himself. He didn't come home most nights but at least he informed Gulf in advance. He had little suspicion that Mew was meeting with his boyfriend. Where else would he spend his nights? Gulf waited for jealousy and hurt to come but all he felt was indifference. He didn't like Mew or even thought of his future with him, this marriage was as far as it could go. Mew had made it clear that he had boyfriend before marriage and he wasn't inclined to get married either but whatever circumstances made him say yes to this proposal had nothing to do with Gulf.

If Mew wanted to continue dating behind his back, he could do so. At least he wasn't bringing his boyfriend to their home, sparing Gulf a little bit of humiliation. Fighting over something like this would be futile and stressful. And if you looked at all of this with different perspective, Gulf had been lying to Mew too about his mental condition so in his mind they were even. Both of them were lying and deceiving so it made it all okay since love wasn't what had brought them together anyway. He wondered if Mew's boyfriend knew about this marriage or not.

Mew had cancelled his date with Tine because he felt guilty. He loved being with Tine yet at times it was hard to look at Tine without hating himself. He was deceiving the guy he loved so much for his own satisfaction. Tine was fragile, he could already imagine how utterly broken he would be if he came to know about Mew's lies. Still he wasn't ready to let go of Tine. He decided to go to flower shop and order some flowers to be delivered at Tine's home. Tine loved flowers and his favorite were tulips.
