After school Rei and I went to our favorite cafe. We were sitting pretending to be youtubers reviewing our drinks.

"Mmm the tea flavor isn't too strong just how I like it. I would give this uhhh 8.5/10! Not too bad but there's probably something better." Rei and I laugh.

We continue talking when I hear the bell ring. I turned towards the door and saw the boy but he was with someone else.

A girl.

They were holding hands and laughing. Why did this hurt so much? I look back at my drink and stir it with my straw. Maybe if I don't look it won't hurt as much. That didn't help.

That's right. Why did I ever think I had a chance? He is simply just my hallway crush.
