The bright blue and smoky black portal wrapped around us as Strix tightened around me. Strix's anxiety had doubled lately. She hadn't come out of her caves much during our time in America. After spending a millenium alone, she's still getting used to having more than a rat or fish around, including me. We talked everyday through their mind link but Strix secludes herself more and more as the days go by.
With a flash of light, my feet hit the ground. The giant castle of Hogwarts stood strongly as students passed by, already used to having us around. A few of the younger kids watched in wonder as the blue light around us dimmed and Strix slithered up and around my neck from her place around my torso; not needing to be braced for any impact anymore.
"Thank Hades. I thought i was going to die." Strix hissed as she cursed profanities.
Thanatos had warned us that since it's only our second jump that our landings may be rough for a while. Unlike shadow travel, dimension hopping has us travelling over 6,000 light years in seconds so Thanatos was shocked when I landed effortlessly the first time.
"Stell!" I fell to the ground with an 'ompf' as my cousin tackled me in a hug. My hug was just as tight as Strix slithered away, already tired of the humans. "I missed you!" He exclaimed looking me up and down curiously. "You look older?" He questioned. "Mhm! I did an aging up potion for a secret mission i was on. It hasn't worn off yet."
The best duo was back.

Draco saw his sister turn the corner with Harry and frowned. He didn't use his mirror while she was gone so Harry had told him that she would only be here for less than a week before she leaves again.
Pansy is getting suspicious. She thought he was the heir of the house of Black. It was one of the reasons she liked him. He would be powerful when he aged. Little did she know, he wasn't the true heir of Malfoy either.
The blonde put his stuff away and walked in the direction his twin went. When he saw her, she was talking to their godfather with Harry. His footsteps were slow and nervous as he approached.
"-And I was wondering if Hogwarts has a music room. There's something I need to do, you should probably come with me so I can explain because it has been a long few months for me." He overheard her say.
Before the trio of people could walk away, Draco had jogged up to them. "Hello." He directed to Estella. She gave him a smile and wave. "Hello my favorite Malfoy." She said, causing him to snort. "Ironic." Harry hissed in parseltongue before walking away.
"Welcome back, big sis." He whispered punching her shoulder lightly, unknowingly causing Sev's lips to twitch up. "Oh my poor little brother. What would you ever do without me?" She carried on feigning exasperation as she saw his inside-out robes. She flicked her finger at him, sending him back slightly as his clothes rearranged.
