Zoe's POV
Johnny and I have been dating for almost a year, actually tomorrow it will be a year. I was so excited I already had his gift, it was a black leather jacket. He had told me once that he had wanted one, that they were tuff.
Anyhow, I barely slept all night in anticipation for tomorrow.
When tomorrow finally got there I grabbed Johnny's present and ran towards the lot. Sure enough, he was there.
"Hey, Babe." He said, pulling me into a tight embrace.
"Hey." I say snuggling into his shoulder.
"Why are you all excited for?" He asked, pulling me back to kiss me on the forehead.
"Our one year anniversary." I say in a duh tone.
I knew by his face that he forgot.
"You forgot?" I say although I already knew the answer
He looked upset suddenly.
"No, I-I didn't. I just was scared to give you my present."
I was really interested now. He slowly pulled out a book and slowly opened it.
"Dear Zoe. This past year has been the greatest in my entire life, you are the most beautiful and incredible girl in the whole world. I honestly don't know how or why you would stay with me but somehow we made it to one year. I know its taken me awhile to say it but I love you, darlin' more than anything. "
Yeah I was crying, he pulled me against his chest.
"Johnny, I love you too. " I half way sobbed into his chest.
He pulled out a simple ring with a heart on it.
"I promise to stay faithful to you." He said, putting the ring on my finger.
"Oh, Johnny." I say, hugging him tightly.
I gave him his black letter jacket. A key fell out of the pocket.
"What's this for?" He asked picking it up.
"Its my house key." I say, smiling at him.
"Why would you give me your house key?" He asked.
"Because you're moving in with me." I say, giggling at his astonished face.
"Really?" He says, grinning like a little kid at Christmas.
"Really."
"I love you, Zoe, so so much."
"I love you too, Johnny. " I say, hugging him tightly.
I can honestly say, I think we can make it till two years.
