In the seemingly unending darkness... the once dead girl regained her consciousness.
"Hey, wake up! You've been asleep for too long," A lively voice said to her.
"What... are you? Who... am I?" the girl asked, more to herself than to the unknown person in her brain.
"Who I am isn't of importance right now. You've been shot in the head. But luckily, your brain has escaped largely unscathed," the voice said
Shot in... the head?
Shouldn't she be dead then? Why is she still alive?
How did she even get shot in the first place?
"I'll help you remember. Go through your memories, remember who you are and what happened. We have plenty of work to do." the voice instructed
"Who are you?" The girl asked again.
"Know that I am your Higher Self. I am the primal and truest form of you. Don't worry, this isn't a case of schizophrenia. I am a part of you. You can call me... Hua, yes... Hua sounds good!" the now person named Hua said
Listening to Hua's advice, the girl scavenged through her memories as they began to come back to her.
As if they were waiting for the girl's command... they began to flood her head, making it ache a bit.
"Woah! Woah! Easy there... try a little at a time. First let's start with your name... You are...?" Hua asked trying to help the girl remember.
The girl tried her best to remember... but nothing came to her. Until it just suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
Her name was...
"Fu Hua... I am a subordinate of the Flame-Chaser's Overseer. He took me under his wing after my father had died in China," The girl, now known as Fu Hua explained
"Hehehe! Glad you remember! Well, some of it, we must find out what happened to you. Why couldn't you remember yourself, Fu Hua? There has to be a reason, try to find it. I'll provide some help," Hua said
With the help of Hua, Fu Hua went through more of her memories, trying to recall how this had happened.
Then she finally remembered.
"𝐇𝐦𝐦? 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐅𝐮 𝐇𝐮𝐚. 𝐈'𝐦 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭,"
It was... Otto's voice and her own.
