𝟷 𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚑 𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚛:
"Are you going to iris house" Kao said, walking into the kitchen sitting down as i made breakfast.
I ignored him, continuing to make breakfast. Me and Kao haven't been the same since the news but we're trying to work it out, but i just feel like we're forcing something that isn't there anymore.
"Monroe" Kao said.
I continued ignoring him.
"Monroe i know you hear me" He said, getting up and coming over to were i was.
"What" I rolled my eyes.
"You heard what i asked, answer" He said, smart ass.
"No, I'm not" I said.
"Why, everybody gonna be there, it's supposed to be a cookout" He said.
"Cause i just don't wanna go" I said in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Can you go get the kids up, breakfast is ready" I said, making plates.
I sat all the plates at the table, and got everybody cups, i poured orange juice in the triplets cup, and grape in me and Kao's.
We all ate, the twins and Kao all talked, but i just sat there quiet, i felt so disconnected these past few weeks.
"Mo i'm finna get them ready" Kao said. and i nodded.
They went upstairs, i started cleaning the dishes and the kitchen, sweeping and putting stuff back were it goes.
"Alright Mo, we finna go" Kao said, as he and the kids came down dressed.
