Chapter 9

Heaven's P.O.V

I was in complete darkness. I was trying to open my eyes, but nothing was happening. Finally, I was able to see a speck of light. I followed the little speck until I was able to open my eyes fully.

I open my eyes to a white room. I was confused, but then everything began coming back to me.

Scott
Running away
The Guy
Raping me
Austin
Hospital

I'm in a hospital room. I look around and feel someone holding my hand. I snatch my hand back terrified because I have no idea who it is.

"Heaven!! You're awake!" Taylor yelled causing me to flinch and move away from her. It's Taylor, I know that, but I'm really scarred. "Heaven, what's wrong?" She asked worried and moved to sit on the bed.

"Please!! Leave me alone!!" I begged and began to ball out crying.

"Heav," she spoke softly and went to grab my hand. I pulled it back and moved as far away from her as I could on the small bed.

"I said leave me alone!!" I shouted and cried more than I thought was possible. She began to back away slowly.

"Babe, it's me," she whispered. Then, Harry, Austin, and a doctor came into the room. Too many people. I rolled up into a ball on the bed and cried.

"Austin, please!! Get them away from me!!" I begged still crying.

"She's right. It's best that we give her time alone for a while," the doctor explained. "Austin, it's best if you stay and keep her company. It's seems she feels comfortable with you."

I nodded in agreement even though they weren't looking at me. "Of course. I'll stay with her, and I'll get you guys when she feels a little more comfortable," he said.

They all left the room except for Austin. He sat next to the bed in one of the chairs. "Are you okay?" He asked. Why would I be okay? I'm in a hospital because I don't have enough blood in my body! But I didn't say any of that. I just nodded my head, even though I'm not okay. "You don't have to lie. I realize you're not okay. I think you should let Taylor in here. And, um, tell her what happened. And eventually, we need to call the police," he said whispering the last part.

"What?!? Are you kidding?!? You want to call the police after he threatened to kill me if I told??!?" I yelled. I can't seem to stop myself from doing stupid things because after yelling, I began feeling light headed again. I saw the doctor rush in followed by Taylor and Harry.

"What happened? We heard yelling," Taylor said.

"I don't know. Heaven just started freaking out and yelling after I told her we had to report the rape!" He covered his mouth right after he said it.

No! No! No! Taylor wasn't supposed to know!!! Dammit Austin!

"The what?" Taylor asked stunned.

"Nothing. Nothing. I didn't mean to say that," Austin tried to explain.

"No, Austin," I whispered trying to stay awake, "Taylor, I was raped," I choked out before fainting.

Taylor's P.O.V

"Taylor, I was raped," Heaven said before passing out.

"No! What happened?!?" I yelled at the doctor.

"Calm down Ms. Swift, Heaven just fainted. I told you, it isn't good for her to be very upset in her condition. She'll wake up soon. And for her sake, I ask that there be no more outburst," he asked then left the room.

"Austin, Heaven was raped?" I whispered. He nodded. "When?" I asked with my voice raising slightly.

"When she left the house. I found her and I asked if she was, you know, and she said yes. She also said that the guy threatened to hurt her if she told what happened. That's all I know. She's scared so she wouldn't say anything else," he confessed.

I put my head down and looked at Heaven. "How?" I whispered to myself. I sat by the bed and grabbed her hand.

"Come on, babe, let's leave her alone for a while. And give you some time to take this all in," Harry whispered in my ear. I didn't argue.

"Austin, we're gonna go for a walk. Are you staying here?" I asked. He nodded his head. I got up and walked out with Harry. He took my hand in his and we just walked throughout the halls. "Harry, she was rapped," I said.

He sighed. "I know. I can't believe it either. And Austin was right, we need to report this."

"You think I don't know that? Harry, she's scared out of her mind! A guy threatened to hurt her if she talks about it. She's not gonna wanna talk about it. You heard her freak out on Austin. She doesn't want to report it."

We walked in silence for a while. Really, I was thankful Harry didn't say anything. After a while he broke the silence. "Okay, so how are we going to make her feel safe?" He asked.

"That's a good question. A question I don't know the answer to. I do know that I need my daughter to feel safe around me. Come on. Let's head back."

We went back to the room and Austin was talking with Heaven. I didn't hear what they were talking about, but I guess it didn't matter. "Hey, you're up," I whispered, not wanting to be loud.

"Yeah. I'm up. I'm sorry for, you know, fainting. I didn't mean to get that upset," she said softly.

"You don't have to be sorry for anything, babe." I went and sat on the bed and placed my hand on her arm making her flinch. I took my hand back. "But, you know what? I kind of need need you to tell me about what happened after you left the house," I said choosing my words carefully. Her eyes got big and filled with fear. "You don't have to tell me now, but eventually. I know you're scared, but I give you my word I will not let a single soul hurt you in anyway possible."

Her fear-filled eyes turned into eyes of disappointment. And I don't blame her. "Hey, I know I haven't been the best with keeping my word, but remember, I'm Taylor Swift. I can have ten bodyguards around us at all times!" I joked earning a shy smile from Heaven. "There's that smile that I love so much." I made a bold move and put my arm around her making her flinch again. "Hey, it's just me. I'll never hurt you. Never!" I said and laid completely on the bed with her. She snuggled up to me and laid her head on my chest.

Now all I have to do is get her comfortable enough to tell me what happened.

I DID IT!!! BETWEEN MY SLEEPING AND EATING, I DIDNT HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO DO SO I POWERED THROUGH AND FINISHED THE CHAPTER!!!!!
