A Disclaimer before reading 'Darkest of Times':
This is a FANFICTION and a work of fiction. Some of the characters are fictitious and created for the story.
All characters related to the anime and manga 'Moriarty the Patriot' used in the story have NOT been created by me, the rights go to Ryosuke Takeuchi (manga creator), Hikaru Miyoshi (manga illustrator), Production I.G (anime producers) and Go Zappa and Taku Kishimoto (anime writers).
Any information used has been researched by myself or taken from the anime and 'Moriarty the Patriot Fandom' website and Reddit as resources. All other themes are fictitious and made up.
The prologue was written with the help of my sister. Lines throughout the story have been taken/inspired by Shakespeare and quoted from various famous plays of his, such as Macbeth, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, etc.
The storyline has been created by me, but very much influenced by the anime itself.
Enjoy reading, but understand that this is FANFICTION and simply written because I love Moriarty the Patriot.
