Hope's POV
I asked Easton's phone number to Cael. I want to know his reason at hindi iyon mareresolba kung i-cha-chat ko lang siya. I nervously clicked the dial button and the phone started ringing. A few more rings the dial tone stopped. Ibig-sabihin may sumagot na sa tawag pero hindi pa nagsasalita.
Tumikhim muna ako bago magsalita.
"Hello?" saad ko.
"Hope?" he said.
"H-How did you know?" sagot ko.
Isang beses pa lang kami nagkita pero nakilala niya agad ang boses ko.
"I know it's you because of the gentleness your voice have," sagot niya.
"Sigurado ako sinabi sa 'yo ni Cael," sagot ko.
"No. I just know it," sagot niya.
"Ewan ko sa 'yo. Hindi tayo matatapos nito kung patuloy ka mambobola!" sagot ko.
"Ano ba 'yong sasabihin mo?" he said.
Tumikhim muli ako at huminga ng malalim. Kalma lang, Hope. Tao lang 'yan.
"What's your reason? It might help me decide..." sagot ko.
Baka mamaya maganda naman pala ang hangarin nito. Nauna lang talaga ang pagiging judgemental ko.
"I want to know you better. I want to know the story behind your novels. Bakit sila sad ending? I want to know you," he answered.
Natahimik ako sa sinabi niya. His voice sounds so serious and all the words he said feels like he wants to know me well. Everything feels genuine.
"Are you willing to wait? Handa ka bang maghintay para sa desisyon ko?" saad ko.
"Of course. Think about it carefully. Good night," sagot niya.
"Good night..." I answered and ended the call.
Susubukan ko siyang kilalanin. Wala namang masama na kilalanin ang gamer na 'yon. It's not bad to get to know someone. I think he's also an interesting person. I also want to know what's with gaming for him to be passionate in that field. I saw his burning passion when I went to their game last time.
