The mansion stood there as if the surrounding nature had embraced it, that the flora flowed within it as much as around it.

Shanvi gawked at the luxurious mansion infront of her and then Hafid. Unknown feelings aroused in her heart. First, private jet, then this huge mansion, screamed the status and power he and his family had. This was enough to make her nervous and afraid at same time. Would she be able to fit in their lifestyle?

"Lets go" he commanded typing something on his phone.

Shanvi with sweaty hands silently followed him.

Suddenly the heartbeat got increased and she was shocked, she wasn't able to move even, it was something like explosion of energy within and what could she do just to witness this shocked moment. It was completely new, unaware and moreover it was strange, and powerful.

"Hafid..." she whispered as if words were not ready to come out her throat.

When he didn't heard her, she clutched his arm, but only his shirt came in her hold, to stop him.

He turned around humming in response, still looking at his phone, then peeked Shanvi, "Yes?"

"I... I ... don.... Don't wanna ..go .. inside.." she said stammering taking small steps backwards as if she would cry any moment.

He holded her hand in his, "Chalein.." he commanded dragging her inside completely ignoring her condition.

Her heart stopped as they reached the living area. She was frozen to her place. Her stomach twisted.

Everybody was already waiting for them in the living, comfortably seated on their places. His father, mother and sister glared Shanvi as if she was some dirt.

Staring had became only form of communication.

"Abbu.." Hafid was about to say but stopped when his father raised his hand.

His father Ali stood up, walked towards him whispering something in his ear; "You shouldn't have done that"

Saying that he left patting his shoulder and shooking his head in disgust.
