It was a bright and sunny day, A light gust of wind blowing against the thin branches and leaves that caused the rays of sunlight to dance between the gaps
The birds sang their songs and the butterflies fluttered about their day, The monk whom was on the back of the white dragon horse had acquired a basket to carry the cub within

The basket had been patted with blankets and a pillow to make it comfortable for the baby simian to reside in, It also made it easier to avoid accidentally dropping it or it wandering off as they traveled
They monk had looked around and announced for the group to settle down in the peaceful and fruit filled forest

Since it was still daylight, They all had time to prepare camp for the night. . .and deal with a restless and fussy cub that kept scratching at the basket
The monk had handed the basket over to Sha Wujing before climbing down the white dragon horse, Setting his feet down on the grass as he saw Sun Wukong and Zhu Bajie cleaning up the clearing they arrived at

The monk had walked over to the clearing and sat down, crossing his leg over the other as he aligns his hands with his lower chest level
Taking a deep breath and closing his eyes; he had a few moments of silence to himself. . .That was until he heard a sudden panic from behind and felt something grabbing at his pants
Opening his eyes and already having an idea who it was

"My dear..."
The monk started but he trailed off into silence once more, An expression of dissatisfaction as he picked up the cub and held them up by his eye level
"My apologies, Master!
I shall make sure the child doesn't bother you again."
Sha Wujing spoke as he bows to gesture how sorry he was, holding out his hands to take the baby

"No, It is quite alright as of this moment.
They are but a baby."
The monk told before looking over at Sha
"Please go and gather the others, There is something I'd like to discuss."
He requested and Sha proceeds to bow
"Right away, Master!"
Sha told before rushing around to gather his brothers

Wukong was yelling at Zhu Bajie to not eat all of the fruits as the piglet only protests, They spot their sandy brother approaching and stop their bickering for a moment to listen to what he had to say
They both nod their heads and proceed back to camp with the armfuls of delicious fruits to feed the group

"I am pleased to see that the 3 of you have returned safely."
The monk spoke with a soft smile as he was stroking the cub's head with a gentle hand, The cub who had their tail wagging
"Thank you, Master!"
The three had told in unison as bai long ma had returned to his dragon form, Settling down next to his brothers

"Why have you gathered us here, Exactly?"
Sha Wujing asked with a curious glance, The other 3 glancing at him before copying the same curious gesture
The monk couldn't help but chuckle
"I have gathered you all here to discuss something of great importance, A bothersome realization."
He began as the baby grabbed his hand within their paws, A great battle between the cub and his hand

"Well?
What is it?"
The great sage asked with a bit of impatience behind his tone
"The cub that was gifted to us and have journeyed with... Has yet to receive a proper name..."
He announced with a hint of disappointment of not naming it sooner, Mostly in himself

"I wish for them not to be raised and think that the silly nicknames we gave them are their real names..."
He spoke truthfully with a nervous smile
"What's wrong with 'blue bell?'"
The monkey king asked before receiving a unison of unimpressed expressions from his brothers
"Oh come on!
That name is cute!"
He told in his defense before huffing and crossing his arms over his chest

"Yet you would want the cub to be taken seriously outside of our group here."
Bai Long Ma told as it caught the king's attention, Wukong couldn't argue with that because. . . It was true
The group then got to brainstorming names for the cub, though they had different ideas
"How about a simple but meaningful name?"
Sha suggested which made the king lean over on Zha's head to get near the blue guy

"It can't be simple!
It's gotta be something that everyone can remember, Carve it into their brains until the very day they pass from this world.
Something like my name!"
Wukong argued before Zhu pushed him off with a grumble
"Get off of me!
Why don't you just name it after food?
Easy peasy!"
Zhu told with a tired expression as Wukong grumbled in annoyance in response
"Master wouldn't allow such a lazy prompt!
Right master?"
Wukong protested as he looked over at The monk

The monk however was dealing with the cub that was tugging on his cheek a bit too hard, The others tensed up before Wukong, Sha and Zhu approached in unison
Hitting their heads suddenly and backing off again as they groaned in pain, Bai long Ma offers a flower to the cub that caught it's attention
The cub lets go of the monk's cheek and goes to grab the flower, Waving it around in fascination as the rest of the group lets out a breath of relief

"Thank you, My friend."
The monk told as Bai simply nodded in response
"As for the rest of you, Please refrain from arguing over names.
We wouldn't want the little one to develop bad habits."
He told as he set the baby down to crawl around, The cub crawls for a bit before it flopped to it's side and hugged the flower
It's tail sways around as it's in a giggle fit
Everyone was in awe by it's cuteness but the monk simply had to focus

He clears his throat which catches the rest of the group's attention
"You each will present your chosen names one at a time, I'm sure lunch will give each of you enough time to think of proper ones."
The monk instructed and the group nod in understanding
The cub seemed to want a head start as it ends up biting the top half of the flower, Everyone was suddenly put into panic as they tried to get the cub to spit each and every piece of it out
