Chapter 12

It is recommended that you reread all previous chapters from characters for better understanding of the story as I would have changed some characters names, ages, some plot lines and completely re-written one of the chapters and it may confuse you if you don't. If you are a new reader and read the chapters when it was already re-written(RE) then you don't have to.

3rd POV

A few minutes before midnight and Azalea, Damon and Silas had all returned making their way to Aces chamber where a sleeping Lucian and a restless Ace awaited them. 

"What a coincidence that we all return at the same time" Silas sarcastically joked poking fun at the circumstance their currently in. "Not the time for joking" Damon huffed and flew ahead of Azalea and Silas to Aces chamber. With a gentle knock Damon pushed the door open and entered with Azalea and Silas following behind him. 

All eyes immediately fell on the sleeping Lucian, he laid belly down with his head turned to the entrance. His messy hair nesting on his head, slightly dark undereye, blush bruised cheeks and pouting pink lips. "What did we do to deserve such a cute mate" Azaleas usually strong composure came undone as he saw his little mate, he proceeded towards Lucian and laid next to him caressing his face softly while his sleeping beauty.

Lucian unconsciously moved towards Azalea sensing the warmth coming from him and placed his head on his chest while muttering incoherent words. Placing a peck on his forehead Azalea then lifted Lucian tightly enclosing his arms around him and looked towards Damon signaling that their ready to leave.

Across the room stood the restless Ace "I guess this is goodbye for now" he muttered whilst facing out of the window. This was a goodbye to his kingdom that will one day be revived. Ace felt quite guilty for the way he's leaving behind his home land and for the way he's leaving it, like an abandoned lifeless kingdom, which is the sad truth.

Placing a hand on his shoulder Silas gently squeezed to return Ace back to the world of the living. "Don't beat yourself up too much over it we all make mistakes for better or for worse, one day we will all return and rebuild your kingdom into something magnificent" Silas said with a content grin on his face. "Our kingdom" Ace quietly whispered under his breath with hopeful eyes staring into the dark greenery below but this was heard by Silas, perks of being a Dracula.

"I apologize for the wait let's get going now" Ace along with Silas walked towards the middle of the chamber where Damon and a sleeping Lucian in Azaleas arms stood. "Well I guess this is goodbye to the magical dimension, maybe for a while or forever" Damon closed his eyes as an ombre of orange magical energy seeped from his hands, with a clench of both his writs a oval shaped portal opened before them with the same orange energy flowing around it.

"Azalea you along with Lucian enter first" Damon commanded through gritted teeth with pure concentration "Something is wrong with my magic it's as if someone's messing wi-with i-it ahh" Damon's legs buckled as he let out a strained shriek but before he could fall Ace held him against his body "I don't think I'll he able to keep the portal open without us all arriving in different places" Damon explained weakly as he barely held the portal open. "Azalea and Lucian have already already gone through, stable yourself and hold on for a little longer, Silas will enter and then we'll make a jump for it, remember we are doing this for Lucian all for Lucian" hearing his mate's name Damon harshly grunted and clenched his eyes and fists harder as the veins on his head pulsate, popping up just below the flesh.

"Silas now!" Damon yelled and the Dracula plummeted himself into the portal. Immediately after Ace tightened his grip onto Damon and ran towards the portal throwing them in right before it vanished into thin air.

S I L A S

What is happening? why can't I open my eyes? I questioned in my head. I tried moving my arms then legs but nothing seemed to work. Something feels different is it the weather or did I drink some bad blood gosh I hope it's not some bad blood. What is happening to my body why does it suddenly pain. My breath, why is it so hard to breathe. 'Ahhhhh' I internally screamed into my mind the pain it's unbearable. I need to move I can't take this anymore. How did I end up here....

*flashbacks*

"Silas now!" Damon yelled as he struggled to keep the portal open. I immediately entered and my entire body became immobilized, it felt as if I was coursing through an empty tunnel surrounded by dark energies. I thought I couldn't see as well but not long after the sight of Ace and Damon came into view. Damon seemed to be completely worn out but who can blame him. Ace had his arms around him and we made eye contact just then I was enveloped in darkness.

*flashback over*

That wasn't a dream I really did find my mate. What a relief. This explains what's happening to me, my body is adapting to the new universe. Are Lucian, Ace, Azalea and Silas with me. Are they awake. Is Lucian ok Is he safe. Thoughts filled my mind. I need to wake up now. 'Focus Silas now is not the time to panic' I reminded myself and began thinking of what I can do.

Breathe, listen and let the new universes atmosphere, its magic, its live force and its environment into my mind and body. Exhale. My body suddenly jolted upwards as I panted. I could see and my body can move, I plastered a stupid grin on my face.

Looking in front of me my body seemed to look the same. I was seated on top of a bed of shabby looking grass. Watching around the others came into sight Azalea laid completely spread out with Lucian on him, not far from them Ace and Damon laid side by side on their backs. "We're safe" I wondered out loud.

What should I do now, It would have been more convenient if Damon was the one to wake up first I sighed confused. I walked towards Lucian and checked his pulse which seemed to be completely fine so was his breathing. He still looked as pretty as ever as well. I gathered all their bodies and carried them to shelter under the trees of the seemingly forest we landed in.

I should check if the new universe has affected my abilities in any way and with that I proceeded to run across the field in a flash, super speed check,

Fangs check,

Flight check,

Hearing check,

Sight check.

They seem to be a little dull but I can work on that later. I returned to shade where I left the guys earlier and saw Azalea stirring awake.
