It's the next day and I'm at scoops with the group (aka me, Steve, robin and Dustin), working and planning a way to get access to the place we think the Russians might be hiding things or any kind of clue.
"Look, according to the blueprint, if we go through this vent and make this path we could get to the spot. But we're gonna need someone who can fit through it " robin explains as we all look over to Dustin.
"What are you guys looking at me for??"
It's been a few minutes and we finally get our 30min break that we decide to use for the mission.
"Okay, Dustin you sure you wanna try this?" Steve asks worried.
"Yeah."
"How and why would he fit there?" Robin asks.
"Uh Dustin's got this like this wired thing that makes him miss some bones in his body or something, i don't really get it but right now it's what we got."
"Ok, Dustin. Here's your walkie talkie. Remember if you need anything tell us through this and if anything happens i will do whatever it takes to get to you ok? Even if i have to break the wall." I say handing him some things.
"Good luck child."
Steve pushes him to the height of the vent as they try to make him fit but it's pretty obvious he can't even the fully inside of it.
"Stop it, even if he got fully in he wouldn't be able to move."
"Yeah." Steve says agreeing with me.
Our break is over and me and robin head to the customer who is ringing the bell.
It's this kid who looks around 9-10yrs old that comes here often to 'try the flavors'.
"Hey, i would like to try that flavor please."
She says pointing at one of the ice cream flavors.
"You can't just keep asking for samples."
"Why not? It's a policy that the customer gets to try out a flavor if they want."
"Yeah, well your abusing the policy."
I look at the kid and then at the vent and see she could most likely fit in it.
"Hey, kid-"
"Um, my name is Erica Sinclair."
"Sure, Erica. What do you think about making a deal? A favor for a favor?"
"I'm interested."
I bring her to the back and explain our situation, asking her if she would agree to help us out.
"So, what do you think?"
"I still haven't heard what i get out of this."
"Fair enough, what do you want? You can have free ice cream for a week!"
"Um.. no. you see what you are describing to me feels more like child endangerment so how about this, i get free ice cream for. Life."
"For life?"
"For. Life."
"Fine, deal."
