After that the radio went silent.
"Did they do it??" I ask.
"Yeah, i think so look." Robin says as she points up to a bunch of helicopters going in the direction of the mall.
On the road ahead we can see a bunch of firetrucks.
We finally get to the mall and i see Joyce with will so i run towards them.
"What happened?"
"I closed the gate.."
I look around for hopper but he's not... Oh. I go to El and hug her while she cries in my arms.
"I'm sorry.." i say to her.
Then, Steve walks over to us with max. I just look at him and know that billy didn't make it so all i know i can do is to be here for them.
*Time skip from the series.*
Its been three months from the mall fire. Eleven has lost her powers. Me and Steve have sense become boyfriends and got a new job with robin at this film store. Joyce decided to move with will, Jonathan and El.
Right now we are all helping them finish packing up before they go. The kids are singing neverending story to dustin while me and Steve finish putting things in their truck.
Soon, they're ready to go so we all say goodbye.
"Bye will, i promise I'll keep you updated on what happens here. And hey, try to enjoy it there i know it won't be easy but you deserve to be happy ok?"
"Y-yeah ok." I give him a hug then turn to El.
"Hey, don't worry ok? We'll be ok. And i know you will too because your the strongest person i know."
"Hey Jonathan, you ok?"
"Yeah, i will be. Bye y/n."
"Guys we gotta go now." Joyce says from the truck.
"Bye guys." I say as they drive away and i hug Dustin and Steve.
