Aether walked up to his longtime angsty boyfriend Xiao and asked if he was okay.

Xiao turned around, obviously having been crying, and slammed his fist into Aether's chest.

Aether staggered back, startled, then faked a punch to Xiao's face.

Xiao stepped aside, and Aether drove his fist into a nearby table, shattering it.

Athena walked up and said that she'd like to help them.

She explained that her faction, the light side, was also being threatened.

She offered to recruit them, but Aether dismissed the idea, for he didn't want his boyfriend to get hurt. His Karmic Debt was getting worse, which was the reason Xiao had previously punched him.

"Sorry, baby," he said.

Xiao then smashed Aether in the mouth with a wine glass, knocking him out.

Aether awoke to find himself in a dark room, with his head resting on a table.

He also noticed that he was nude, his clothes discarded on the ground around him.

He looked up, and saw that he was in a bar, and sitting next to him was Xiao.

"Well, you've slept with a light side girl," he said.

"It means you're leaving for a while."

Xiao got up and got out a glass of wine, then sat down on the edge of the table next to Aether.

"Here, have some wine," He said.

"You should get to sleep soon, or you'll be in trouble."

He then got up, leaving Aether confused, and sleeping naked on the table.

The next day, Aether went up to Xiao who was a lot less aggressive towards his lover, Aether.

"Why don't we get out of here?" asked Xiao.

"I need to get back to your boyfriend, who's probably worried about you."

"No, I've got nothing to say to him," said Aether.

"Nothing, I mean."

Xiao smiled.

"What a shame," He said.

He then put a finger to her lip and made a shushing sound.

Xiao took out a gold card and put it on the table.

Aether looked at it, and noticed the words "ANIMERICA, INC" in gothic - style font.

Xiao placed his hand on his crotch and pulled him closer.

"I-I have a boyfriend!" Aether stammers. "It-it's you, remember? All because you changed your gender into female-"

"Yes, yes," said Xiao, rolling his eyes.

"Don't make me laugh, I can't stop myself."

Aether looked at her horrified, and Xiao slowly placed a gloved finger in his mouth and sucked on it.

"Ew, you're disgusting," said Aether, but he was secretly turned on.

Aether then kissed him, and both the duo passionately made out.

"Do you know how long I've wanted to do this?" asked Aether.

Xiao then placed a hand on his chest and moved her fingers up and down his skin, slowly becoming aroused.

Fortunately, Aether knew nothing smutty would be happening tonight, so he was safe with Xiao.

"No sex tonight, remember baby?" Aether asked.

Xiao smiled at him and caressed his cheek with his thumb.

"Of course, darling," she said.

"You need to take it easy with your Karmic Debt."

Xiao then wiped some of his juices on his cheek and smiled seductively at him.

"Anytime," she said.

Xiao then got up and left the bar with a smile on his face.

Aether woke up to find himself once again naked on a table, but this time he wasn't alone.

Xiao was sitting in a chair next to him, but he was facing the wrong direction.

Suddenly, Diluc ran inside.

"Oi, we got some news," he said.

"What happened to you?"

"Oh, I just bumped my head," said Aether.

"I bumped it on a table."

Diluc stared at him, and yelled, "Damn it, this is why you're gay! You have terrible luck!" 

"I don't," said Aether.

Diluc shook his head.

"Then what is it?"

Xiao and Aether looked at each other for a moment.

"We're going to kill the Godkiller!" said Aether.

"What?" said Diluc.

"You have to kill a god?"

"Yeah!" replied Aether.

"I need to take his head to Kamisato Ayato."

Diluc stared at him.

"Wait, who?" he asked.

"A god?"

"Yeah," said Aether.

"I need to take his head to Kamisato Ayato."

"Ayato?" asked Diluc.

Aether shook his head.

"I already told you, he's the Godkiller."

Diluc rolled his eyes.

"I'm sorry I didn't believe you," he said.

Aether stared at the door.

"A god killer, here in Kazamati."

"Kamisato Ayato's home is very far away; you can't do it from here."

Aether looked at the door again.

"I can get there."

"No, you can't."

Aether smiled at Diluc.

"You don't think I can?"

"Aether, do you have anything to say to me?" asked Xiao.
