Adya looked terrified at the piece of paper in her hand.

She suddenly felt a tap on her back and flinched.

Adya immediately crumbled up the paper in her hand and turned around with a smile.

It was her mother.

Anamika: "What's in the bag?"

Adya: "Oh i just liked a dress so i brought it."

Anamika nodded and motioned towards outside and started walking.

Adya: "Are we done?"

Anamika: "No we just brought the sarees. We still have to buy lahengas and jewelleries. Now this time you will need to choose both. Choose properly. I herd Akhil likes the colour green."

Adya silently nodded.

For some reason Adya felt that she should just go on with whatever her mother was doing.

She trusted her guts and followed her mother.

After they reached to the shop there Adya saw Akhil standing outside.

Akhil's mother, Shantani, went towards her son and gave him a hug.

Adya softly smiled at Akhil and all of them went in.

Adya: "Why are you here?"

Akhil: "I would definitely love to see my future wife in the wedding outfit before anyone else."

Adya didn't say anything. She just nodded and went along with the whole process.

After buying a lot of outfits they finally decided to leave.

Anamika was really annoyed as Adya didn't choose a main wedding outfit yet.

Every outfit that Akhil suggested, Adya looked into the tiniest details and found out the flaws of it.

Anamika: "Would the son and the mother like to have dinner with us?"

Shantani: "Oh that would be great. The children will get some time to get together too."

In the car, Akhil was driving while Adya sat in the front passanger seat.

Anamika: "Akhil please don't mind Adya, you know how picky she is."

Akhil: "It's ok aunty. I know Adya from so long. She has a habit of looking into small details which is totally ok to me."

Anamika: "Oh Akhil call me mom!"

Both of the ladies in the back laughed while Akhil just chuckled and looked at Adya.

Adya sat there expression less looking out of the window.

Akhil's smile slowly faded away as he kept on driving.

Upon reaching the house Adya immediately went in and was going to go up stairs when Anamika stopped her.

Anamika: "Adya, take Akhil with you to your room."

Adya rolled her eyes and turned towards her mother.

Adya: "I will go get fresh now. I don't think so Akhil should be there."

Shantani: "Daughter in law, you're both going to get married in a week. I don't think so it matters whatever Akhil sees does it?"

Shantani laughed covering her mouth.

Adya sighed, visibly uncomfortable, and looked away.

Akhil immediately cleared his throat and spoke.

Akhil: "It's ok. Let her get fresh I'll stay here."

Adya didn't say anything and straight went to her room.

After entering her room she immediately broke down crying.

It was too much for her.

She didn't wanted all these. She never wanted to marry Akhil.

Everything was so messy that Adya couldn't even think straight.

For once in her life she thought she would actually stand up against her mother all by herself but things just kept getting harder and harder.

Her mind felt fogged.

She was suffocating in her own emotions.

Adya fell on the ground and cried her eyes out.

All she could think of was about Neel and how it would have been amazing if he was here to save her but she hesitated to ask him.

Adya was confused. She was confused about what she felt for Neel. She was confused about what Neel felt for her.

All those little romantic moments within them.

Were they even anything?

Adya at last sat there staring at her balcony.

She went out there and stood near the railing.

'Jump'

The word repeated in her head.

But it wasn't some ordinary suicidal jump.

Adya looked down to measure the height.

One thing no one knew about Adya that she had photographic memory.

After she was done getting an approximate height, she proceeded to take her hidden phone and send the approximate measurements to the one she was supposed to.

Adya then gathered herself and quickly changed into some dark clothes to have dinner with her mother. Even if she didn't wanted to, she had to, for her plan to be successful.

Anamika: "well didn't expect you to have dinner with me."

Adya didn't say anything and just smiled sarcastically.

Anamika could never expect what was coming towards her.

And just as Adya expected, it started raining.
