Carl

I climb out from my makeshift bed and head over to my bag to grab some clothes for the day. The clock on the wall reads 7:23 as I head upstairs to what is supposed to be my new bedroom to change.

Todays my first official day in Alexandria. Yesterday wasn't too bad. It was actually better than any of us expected. We got to Alexandria, and it actually seems to be a good place. A place that we can finally call home and where Judith can grow up in. They're very weak though, so we're gonna have to do something about that, but I know that my dad can handle it. On the other note, we were reunited with Sophia. She'd been missing for about three years, and we all thought she was dead after finding her doll in the woods. I have my best friend back, though I see her more as a cousin, since Carol is like my aunt. Michonne is still my real best friend.

It was great to spend the night catching up with Sophia, and meeting her friend Enid. Enid didn't talk much, but she didn't seem to mind the company. That was surprising though, she seemed to be happier last night with us, then she was with Ron and Mikey. Speaking of which, they seem to be pretty chill, i'm just not used to being around people my own age.

Back to the topic of Enid... she's definitely pretty, thats for sure. She's maybe one of the prettiest girls i've ever seen, maybe even prettier than Beth. She seems pretty standoffish though, but thats probably because she's from the outside as well. Sophia said that her and Enid found each other on the road and have been joined at the hip ever since. Im glad, because that means that she's strong.

Ive barley known her for a day, and I'm already starting to get these feelings that I had for Beth when we first got to the prison. As time went on, my feelings for her changed to more of family, but right now, I'm definitely not feeling that for Enid.

I'm not good with emotions, and it doesn't seem like Enid is either, so I should probably keep a distance from her. I don't want her to hate me before we even get to be friends. Hopefully these feelings will go away over time like with Beth.

I get changed into a gray long sleeved thermal, some old jeans, my boots, knife, and of course my hat. I head downstairs and see everyone away and about. I weave my way through everybody to grab Judith from Michonne.

"Where are you going? Beth was going to give her a bath." She asks skeptically.

"Taking Judith on a walk." She nods and kisses Judith's cheek before handing her off to me.

"Ah!" Judith grins happily up at me. I smile and push her blonde hair out of her face, heading for the door.

"Make sure you guys are back for lunch!" Maggie calls out from the kitchen after noticing us leaving. I nod and wave with my free hand. I walk out the front door and am immediately greeted to Sophia on my front porch. She decided to sleep at her house last night because she didn't want to leave Enid alone, despite wanting to stay with her mother.
