(Max POV)

"It was here. It was right here" I said pointing my flashlight at the wall where I had seen the clock. After waking up from what ever trance I was in I rushed the group over to the very hallway I stood where I saw who I presume is Vecna.
"A grandfather clock" Nancy asked skeptical about what I was telling them. A tear trickled down my face as I recalled the events that happened moments ago leaving me shaking with fear
"It was so real" I said my voice trembling. "And then when I got closer, suddenly I just... I woke up" I said still distantly hearing the chimes in my head

"It was like she was in a trance of something" Dustin said pointing out how I didn't move or respond to him or Steve when they called out my name. "Exactly what Eddie said happened to Chrissy"
"That's not even the bad part" I said solemnly slowly turning around to face them as we made our way back into the office. "Fred and Chrissy, they came to Ms. Kelly for help. Um...they were both having headaches, bad headaches that wouldn't go away. And then...then the nightmares. Trouble sleeping... They'd wake up in a cold sweat. Then they started seeing things. Bad things. From their past... In these visions, they just... They kept getting worse and worse until eventually... Everything ended" I said with my voice breaking every few words. Tears started brimming my eyes again knowing that I have limited time left

"Vecna's curse" Robin said confused as to why I was explaining all of of this
"Chrissy's headaches started a week ago. Fred's six days. I've been having them for five days" i said slowly."I don't know how long I have. All I know is that for Fred and Chrissy, they both died less than twenty four hours of their first vision. And well. I just saw that god damn clock so...looks like I'm gonna die tomorrow" I finished saying wiping the tears off my face. Looking up to meet the others eyes we all shared the same look of grief and sadness. But that moment was short lasted when a loud clanging noise was heard in the hallway

"Stay here" Steve said grabbing a lamp and making his way out of the room. The rest of us crept slowly behind him when suddenly Lucas popped out and everyone started screaming.
"It's me! It's me!" Lucas screamed holding his hands up in defense from Steve's scary lamp
    "Lucas?"
"It's me" he said trying to catch his breath
"Jesus! What is wrong with you Sinclair!" Steve yelled shaking the lamp in his hands
"I'm sorry" Lucas spoke struggling to breathe as he continued to gasp for air
"I could have taken you out with this lamp!"
"Sorry guys. Sorry, I was biking for eight miles. One second" he said leaning over taking a few seconds to finally catch his breaths. "We've got a code red" he said walking over to Dustin who stood a foot in front of me

"Dustin. I found with Jason, Patrick, and Andy. They've gone totally off the rails! They're trying to capture Eddie, and they think you know where he is! You're in terrible danger!" he said grasping onto Dustins shoulders
"All right. Yeah. That definitely sucks, but we've got bigger problems than Jason right now" Dustin sighed pointing over to me. Lucas' eyes followed Dustins finger and when they landed on me. Examining my face further his eyes widened and he took a few more steps closer to me. My lips trembled with fear and tears continued to trickle down my face.
"Max? Hey what's wrong?" He questioned putting a hand on my shoulder. I don't know what came over me but I suddenly flung my arms around him and began to silently cry into his shoulder. His arms snaked around my back and he began to soothe me still wondering what was wrong

That night we all went over to the Wheelers and stayed down in there basement and slept. Well everyone besides me slept. I couldn't, not with the knowledge that I would be dying in less than twenty four hours. There was so much that I haven't done yet, and so many things that I have left unsaid for everyone.
Which Is why I decided to occupy my night with writing letters to the people important in my life saying what I haven't had the chance to say.
