Mavi's career was interesting. There was no other way of describing it. Sure she spent some time in various Formula 4 championships but she actually spent most of her time in Japan as a Super Formula driver. It was her time as a Super Formula driver that captured the attention of the Williams driver academy. There was just one problem. Mavi lacked the experience in Europe to move directly to Formula 2. Enter the W series. After two years in the W series, she was able to join Williams as a full-time reserve driver. For Mavi, it was a step closer to her dream of becoming a Formula 1 driver.
