From the discharge of violence birthed darkness. It was as thick as tar and hotter than anything that had come before it. Within the darkness cradled precious light. It glimmered like sunlight rippling through water.
Just beyond the edge of darkness awaited an entity. It hovered over the face of the velvet expanse. Surveying the gleaming of the precious light just below the inky surface, it saw the light was good. Malleable. Perfect for a new creation. Light, be.
And there was light. A blazing glory, accelerating in every direction beyond the darkness and its creator. Finally, a new universe.
