"Hey, guys. We've got 20 minute, low-impact, full-body workout today. And I know you can get throw it because no jumping is involved."

"Sure, Chloe Ting!" I scream with false enthusiasm at my laptop. "Let's get going with that summer body."

What's a better way to start your morning other than working out and sweating away the stress?

Having my ponytail ready anytime to come undone, I keep swinging my body from side to side during these curtsy lunges that I hate so much but for which my bum will be so grateful later.

I find myself lucky to have a fast metabolism that allows me to cross the line with sweets and fast food; thus, I've rarely gained weight. And when it did happen, it was easily fixed with a mild diet and less regular workout. So I've been trying to include sport in my daily life because of a healthy lifestyle I'm aiming to adopt, rather than a necessity.

Don't they say that fitness is not a passion but a lifestyle?

Or something like that. I can't remember.

Already finishing my third video of 20 minutes, I conclude my session here, going to the bathroom to take a well-deserved shower. As I grab my hair to undo my ponytail, I hear my phone ringing, and I hurry up to see who that might be.

Jungkook said he'd pick me up in the evening, so he's probably calling to set up the time for it.

Only that it's not him, but my ex-boyfriend video-calling me. To be fair, I missed talking to him, and sometimes I feel dependent on his encouraging words, so I accept the call without thinking twice.

"Hey, you." I answer the phone, pressing my hands to my cheeks, "I'm surprised you are awake. What's the time there, like 3 AM?"

"Hey, gorgeous. It looks like Seoul it's beneficial for you. Your math got better." he laughs, small dimples forming on his face. "I'm joking, don't hang up. It's Friday night, so I indulged myself in late-night reading. Lately, I've been so caught up with work, and that's the only thing that keeps me sane."

"I know. I miss you reading to me until I fell asleep. I remember it used to calm me down." I smile back, watching him sympathetically.

"Don't get me wrong, but I am more than happy you don't need an extra stimulus to calm you down anymore. How have you been? Are you well? Paris misses you, you know."

"I am good. I guess still trying to accommodate. I miss Paris too, but I love Seoul. You were right. It's something different in the air here. When will you come to visit your parents? I'd like to introduce you to the friends I made here. Everyone would love you."

"I'm glad to hear that, but I can't see it happening soon. I met someone." he adjusts his glasses with a finger.

"Oh, is that so?" I smile, raising both of my eyebrows. "How serious is it? Do I know her?"
