Tough Love

*Chapter 13*

Lupin didn't say anything and just hugged me. I cried into his shoulder and fell asleep from exhaustion. I haven't eaten anything since we got back to the manor.

It is now the day I go back to Hogwarts from winter break. We didn't celebrate Christmas this year since I wasn't in the mood to. But they did give me a present since it was also my birthday on Christmas and I got a new journal.

I was happy and wrote about everything I have been through in my new journal as soon as I got to my dorm which was in the Slytherin common room again. It was late so everyone was asleep but I couldn't sleep at all. I went to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror and saw that my hair was turning black. I was really confused since For as long as I can remember my hair has always been blond.

I walked out of the bathroom and got into my Slytherin uniform. I knew it was only 1 am but I didn't care. I walked down to the common room and left. I didn't know where to go so I went to Lupin's classroom and to his office and surprisingly he was in there with Snape.

"Tyler what are you doing up at this hour?" I heard lupin ask. I took down my hood to my Slytherin robe.

"This is why and also because I couldn't sleep." I don't sleep well so they weren't that surprised but they were shocked that my hair was starting to turn black.

"We'll figure out your hair but it will take some time. But right now we need to figure out why you can't sleep." I looked at Snape and nodded. He pulled me in for a hug and I relaxed almost completely. I slowly started to fall asleep but then I was wide awake again after a minute.

"I still can't sleep." I started to panic. I was always able to sleep if someone I trusted was holding me and comforting me.

"Let's get you to aj then. He always finds a way for you to fall asleep." I nodded at Lupin and he took me to aj's dorm.

"Tyler?" Aj said looking confused but took me in for a hug.

"I'm not able to sleep and Lupin and Snape think you might be able to help," I mumbled.

Aj picked me up and put me on his bed then lay next to me and covered the both of us up and I finally fell asleep. I didn't even get out of my uniform but I didn't care.

*Aj's POV*

I looked down at Tyler and noticed he was asleep. I smiled slightly and also went to sleep the next day when I woke up Tyler was still asleep. I called us in sick so he could sleep more since he barely slept last night.

I saw Tyler starting to wake up and I helped him sit up and hand him some food.

"Did you get enough sleep Tyler?" I asked him.

"Yea....thanks for staying with me," he whispered and I smiled softly.

"You never need to thank me Tyler." I blushed a bit since I have a crush on Tyler but I can't tell him yet if he isn't ready for a relationship. I kissed his head gently and started to do my homework. Tyler soon joined me and I helped him.

I looked at Tyler and noticed his hair turned black but I didn't ask him about it. Tyler and I finished our homework and had fun with max and the other Gryffindors. Raven then walked over to us and forced a smile when he saw Tyler and me.

"H-hey Aj.....Ty-Tyler." He stuttered so I went over to him and hugged him.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Tyler asked, really worried. He also sees Raven as a brother.

"Nothing...." Raven muttered. And I hugged him

"You can always talk to us rave," I said softly and could feel Raven relax. 

"just bullies," Raven said as he hugged back.
