"Ow..." Miyu mumbled as the nurse disinfected the wound on her knee. Meiru crossed her arms with a sigh.

"I'm sorry something like this happened on your first day here," she said. Miyu shook her head.

"No need to apologize Meiru. In fact, I should be thanking you." She smiled at Meiru gently. She was, after all, extremely grateful for Meiru helping her out all morning.

"Aww, no need," Meiru giggled with a small blush. "I'm always happy to help people."

"All good," the nurse said to Miyu. "You're free to go to class."

"Thank you," Miyu replied as she stood up and walked to Meiru, who opened the door for them. They stepped out into the quiet hall. Meiru closed the door behind them.

"Let's head to class," said Meiru to her companion. They turned their heads when they heard a pair of footsteps walking down the hallway, coupled with the sound of a conversation.

"Come on, Netto.." sighed a brunette girl. "You're late, caused a disturbance, and now I have to miss class to walk you to the office because the teacher doesn't trust you to go alone."

Walking beside this girl was Netto, strutting casually with his hands behind his head. "Come on, it's not that big of a deal... shouldn't you be happy to skip class?" He grinned at her, but it was only met with an unimpressed look. He sighed. "Alright, I get it. Sorry..oh, hey Meiru!" He exclaimed once he spotted his friend, waving. The girl beside him turned to Meiru and Miyu as well.

"Hey Netto," Meiru said, putting a hand on her hip. "Headed to the office for causing trouble? Again?"

As they conversed, Miyu couldn't help but take another look at the girl beside Netto. She had a mark on her necklace exactly the same as Netto had on his headband. If Miyu was recalling right, that mark was on his Navi Rockman, wasn't it? She wondered if Netto and the girl were related somehow. They had a few resemblances. She took a look at the girls outfit next. Miyu did this with almost everyone she met. She believed clothes could tell you a lot about somebody.

For the first time since moving to this town she didn't cringe inwardly at an outfit. This girl wore a strapless lavender sweater dress over a plum colored dress. She had high boots and her PET strap hung on her waist. Personally, Miyu would've worn a different pair of shoes and perhaps placed the strap elsewhere, but the outfit worked well how it was. She smiled, liking this girl's sense of style.

"I don't see why it's such a big deal..." Netto grumbled, drawing Miyu's attention back to him. He spotted her at the same time. "Miyu? You go here?"

Miyu nodded, smiling slightly. "I think what you did outside was pretty cool," she said, fiddling with her fingers. She couldn't help but smile at what he had done, despite how annoyed he made her the few times they interacted. Honestly, she wasn't opposed to him having tracked mud on Yaito's carpet after her limo nearly ran her over. Not to mention leaping high enough to cross a car and a child was a feat itself.

Netto grinned again. "Yeah, I know, right? See Nori, someone appreciates me." The girl, Nori, seemed to disapprove of the comment as her eyes darted to the back of Netto's head.

Meiru crossed her arms as she raised an eyebrow at Netto. Miyu glanced nervously between the two, the tension making her uncomfortable. It seemed like Miyu wasn't the only one whose nerves Netto could get on. He laughed nervously.

"Uhh, okay," he said slowly. "Let's just go to the office. See ya, Meiru. See ya Miyu." He waved to them before continuing his walk to the office with Nori.

"Come on, let's go too," Meiru said as she turned the opposite direction to the classrooms.

"I'm Miyu suetse.. ah- suetsugu" Miyu said, biting her inner cheek in a bit of frustration for almost forgetting her own last name. She'd do better if she could face the board instead of the class. Hoping to evade the gaze of the students around her, her eyes dropped to the floor. "Pleased to meet you."
