"I'm sorry" I sigh "Can you explain that one more time"
"Again? This is like the 5th time, Y/N" Ben groans
"It's like the 3rd time, your highness" I correct "Just once more, please"
"Yeah, okay" He gets the hologram of Auradon up again and sets it on the middle of the table "Auradon" He states, pointing at the holagram
"Yes" I nod
"Are you following?"
"You've said one word" I frown
"Are you following?" He repeats
"Yes! Carry on"
"We believe the threat is travelling towards Auradon in a fog of grey clouds from this direction" He points at the west side of the hologram
"Still following" I nod
"You and Mal are going to do a fly over... Without being seen" He states very clearly, before carrying on "To try and figure out what is going on"
"Right" I sigh "You ready?" I ask Mal
"Are you?" She smirks
"You're funny. I'm always ready"
"You're still in your PJ's" Carlos laughs, hugging his arms around my waist from behind
"And?" I frown
"You need to cover up" He whispers in my ear. I take his arms from around my waist and turn to face him. I put my hand above my head and quickly move it down to point at my feet. My PJ's get replaced with

"Show off" He smiles
"Guys" Ben speaks up, getting everyone's attention "We need to do this now. The fog is moving faster"
Mal and I look at each other and she reaches her hand out. I take it and we walk into Evie's garden
"Let's do this" I smirk. She nods and we walk a short distance away from each other to give ourselves space. Everyone backs away as Mal and I drop our heads back.
A purple smoke surrounds Mal as a pink-reddish smoke surrounds me. I fly up into the sky and Mal joins shortly after. I land beside Carlos and he puts his hand out to me
I lean down and he gently places his hand on my nose. A smile forms across my face and he must've seen it in my eyes because he smiles back
"Be safe, Princess" I nod and then take off. Mal joins me and we start flying west of Auradon
"Stay out of sight!" Ben shouts. I hear a quiet roar to the right of me and I see Mal diving down. I dive down after her and quietly roar, telling her to wait for me. She slows down and I catch up to her as we glide through the surface of the fog.
We keep our eyes open, looking for anything that could lead us to what was hiding within the darkness. I see something in the distance and I try to call out to Mal but she doesn't hear me. She carries on flying and I see the... person... look towards her. They raise their hand and a purple light starts emerging from it. My eyes widen and I dart towards Mal
I let out a loud roar and knock her out the way, getting hit by a surge of energy. A screech escapes my lips and Mal roars at them. She knocks me with her nose, signalling for us to fly away. We begin flying away when my wing starts aching. I look at it and see a gash where I was hit.
I carry on flying and we eventually get back. We land on the grass and the others come running out to us
Carlos's POV
"They're back!" Evie calls out. I sigh with relief and get up from my spot on the sofa, running over to the window. The girls transform back into their normal selves
However, Y/N looks down and Mal runs to her side instantly
"Somethings wrong" Jay states. I was the first to run out, running straight towards Y/N
"Y/N!" I call out. I stop in front of her and Mal looks at me
"She was hit. I don't know what it was" She shakes her head. I move Y/N's hand away from her side and see blood soaking through her clothes
"Gosh, Y/N" I whisper. I pull my shirt off and hold it against her wound. She winces but let's me apply pressure "Help me get her inside" I tell the others
"Ben, get Fairy Godmother!" Mal commands. He nods and walks away, pulling his phone out
I put her arm over my shoulder and try to help her walk
"No" She groans "You're too tall. This won't work"
"Here" Evie smiles "We'll get her inside" Mal and Evie put her arms over their shoulders and help her walk into the house, laying her on a table
Evie grabs a cloth and soaks it in rubbing alcohol. She makes sure it's not too soaked and then gently starts dabbing Y/N's wound
Y/N's POV
I let out an ear-piercing scream as the alcohol makes contact with my side. Carlos grabs my hand and covers my mouth
"Shhh. It's okay" He whispers "Shhh" I look him in the eyes as sobs escape my mouth. He takes his hand from my mouth and brushes his hand through my hair. Evie dabs my side again and another scream (not as loud as the first one) leaves my mouth
"Stop!" I beg
"I'm sorry, Y/N. We need to clean it" Evie apologises
"Bibbiti-Boppiti What happened?!" Fairy Godmother asks, running in with Ben
"Erm..." We all laugh nervously "I was testing my powers and I hit something. It deflected and hit me..." I lie
Everyone looks at me with raised eyebrows. I shrug and Fairy Godmother holds her wand in her hand. She starts aiding to my wound and after a while, my side was as good as new. She tells me to stay safe and then leaves
"I love magic" I smile, a sigh leaving my mouth as I look down at where the wound used to be
"I thought you left the lying behind you" Carlos smirks
"That was a bit too casual" Jay jokily adds "My PoWeRs DeFlEcTeD aNd HiT mE" He mimics
"Oh, shut up. Being brought up as a villain, you... pick up on things"
