Two best friends. That's all they are... or so they thought. Auradon is a place full of pretty pink princesses and preppy princes. Will that get the best of the 5 VK's? Will they be able to stand it? Or will they cower at the thought of becoming one...
I lay down on my bed, my arms and legs strapped down so that I won't fight against it
"Don't let me go until it's complete" I tell them all "Promise me"
"We promise" Evie smiles, taking my hand. Mal looks at me and nods, sending a small smile in my direction.
"Let's do this" I nod. FG takes her wand from one of the guards and makes her way over to me. She begins to perform the spell and I instantly hear him at the back of my head
'Tell her to stop!'
"No" I mutter. I continue disagreeing until I no longer control my words anymore
"Stop!" I scream "Stop it! Let me go!"
"It's hurting her!" Carlos shouts, trying to step forward but jay holds him back
"Carlos!" I cry "Don't listen. He's controlling me- LISTEN TO ME! LET ME GO!"
"Get Carlos out of here..." Mal whispers "He shouldn't watch this"
"I'm staying" He frowns
"Mal is right, Carlos" Evie cuts in "He knows you love Y/N... he'll try and use you. He'll get in your head. You need to leave"
Carlos looks at me, connecting our eyes as he looks deeply with nothing but sorrow and sadness
"It's okay..." I whisper, sending him a teary eyed smile. As he turns and exits, a ear-piercing scream escapes my mouth
"Y/N! Fight it! Don't let him get in your head!" Mal shouts, looking straight into my eyes
I squeeze my eyes shut and listen to all of my thoughts. Suddenly everything goes black.
Carlos's POV Evie walks out of the room and calls me in. I don't think i've ever jumped up from a seat so quick in my life. I run into the room but see Y/N still sleeping on the bed
"Why isn't she awake?" I ask, my eyebrows furrowing as i glance over her body for any sign of movement
"She's drifted into a deep sleep. I suspect she will awaken in a few days. She's lived her whole life with these powers... now she has to try and live without them"
"And what if her body can't handle not having the power?! What if her power kept her going?! What if she can't function without the magic inside of her?!" I ask, questions continuously spilling out of my mouth as they form in my head
"Carlos" Mal cuts in "She's going to be okay!" She attempts to reassure me
"What if she's not" Tears form in my eyes as i step closer to her, taking her hand in mine
"You need to believe in her, Carlos. Believe"
"She needs you, man" Jay sighs, placing a hand on my shoulder "She needs to know you have faith in her"
I nod and look over her face. Her eyes were closed and her lips were parted slightly. A few strands of hair had fallen over her face and her cheeks were a slight shade of pink. I reach forward and brush the loose strands of hair back behind her ear and place my hand on her shoulder
"I know you'll wake up, Y/N" I sigh "I love you. I know you'll come back to me"
Y/N's POV I'm standing in an all black room. I'm not strapped down anymore.
"Hello?" I call out "Mal?! Evie?!" I start taking a few steps before I hear a voice call out to me
"They aren't here" My head shoots around and that's when I see him. For the first time... I've seen his real face
"What do you want with me?" I frown, keeping my distance from him
"You know what I want" He smirks
"You want my powers" I state. I think for a minute before looking up at him
"Take it" I smirks "I don't want it" I raise my hands and conjure my magic, blasting him backwards Reference gif:

He falls to the floor and I take a deep breath. I'm not sure how much longer I can keep fighting him. I've only used a small amount of what i'm capable of. But with FG taking my powers... I don't know what i'm capable of anymore
I'm snapped from my thoughts as he gets to his feet again
"That was a terrible idea" He spits. He conjures a purple light in his hand. Magic?
"Why do you need mine if you have your own?" I frown, conjuring my magic in my hands too
"Your magic is capable of much more power than you are aware of. You are only a stupid girl. You won't use it for what it's for. I will!"
"My power is mine! I will choose what it will be used for!" I throw my magic at him, missing a couple times as he blocks it or dodges it but i get a couple hits in
"GIVE ME IT!" He shouts, making his way towards me
"COME AND GET IT!" I shout in return. Suddenly, my feet rise off the ground and he freezes in his tracks. I try to get back down but whatever it was, was stronger than me. Much stronger
My magic starts surging through my body and revolving around me. I close my eyes as a bright light erupts from my body. My magic shoots from my body before returning reference gif:

I drop to the floor, landing on my feet and facing him
"I am Y/N Heart. Daughter of the Queen of Hearts. I am the Phoenix" I state, staring at him as my eyes glow a bright red
"You are nothing!" He growls
"Don't growl. You dog" I scoff "I am the most powerful being in this universe"
"I'm not scared of you!"
"You should be" I smirk. I conjure my magic in my hands and surround him in a red/pink light
His hands get stuck behind his back and his ankles get stuck together. He tries to get free but he stopped when he knew it was no use
"This isn't over!" Is the last thing i hear before ash flies everywhere and my magic disappears. I look around for him, conjuring my magic incase he jumps out at me
However, I begin to feel weak and i slowly crumble to the floor. I look at my hands and tears form in my eyes as my magic disappears from them.
"No..." I whisper "He's gone... I want my powers back!" I try to conjure my magic but there was no use
I feel my body begin to slip into the darkness as the power carries me away. I try to fight against it but... I'm too weak
