Elizabeth Swan is the complete opposite of her twin sister, Bella. Elizabeth is outgoing and loves the rain and cold, so she's very excited to be moving back home, unlike her twin. Coming along for the ride is Elizabeth's two year old son, Landon.

"Aro will want us incapacitated before he attacks. Jane will try to take me out first because I can anticipate their moves." Edward said. "Too bad we don't all have your shield." Garrett said from where he stood next to Kate. "Doesn't help me fight, though." Bella said. "No, but you could help the rest of us, if you could project it." Tanya said. Landon ran over and held his arms out for her, and Tanya picked him up and set him on her lap.
"What do you mean?" Bella asked. "I mean shield someone other than yourself." Tanya explained. "Is that possible?" Bella asked. "Gifts can be developed. Over time." Carlisle said. :At first, mine was just in my palms. Now I can radiate it all over my body." Kate said. "How do you do it?" Bella asked. Kate shrugged. Bella grabbed onto her hand. "Tell me." "Ow."

"You need to visualize it. See how it moves." Kate said. "What color it is. Now picture it expanding. Will it go beyond you." She continued. "I think she needs something to motivate her." Kate said to Riley once Bella couldn't get it to work. Bella furrowed her eyebrows and Riley reluctantly stepped forward. Elizabeth walked over to Emmett and held onto his arm. "No." Bella said. "It's alright, I can take it." Riley said to his mate. "He says that now." Garrett commented. "Focus, Bella, or he's gonna be hurting." Emmett said.
"Riley, I'm not ready to do this yet." Bella said as Kate shocked Riley, sending him tumbling to the ground. "I'm sorry. I said that I wasn't ready." Bella exclaimed. "Dude, you're not motivating her." Emmett said to the vampire on the ground. "You want to try?" Riley asked as he stood up. Emmett held his hands up in surrender. Kate shocked Riley in the neck, sending him to the ground again. "Kate!" Bella scolded. "You seem to lack incentive. Should I go see if Renesmee's awake?" Kate asked.
"Are you crazy?" Bella asked her. Riley stood up. "Alright. This one's on full power." Riley gave Bella a look. He touched Kate's hand and she shocked him. But he stayed standing. Bella's shield was working. Kate pulled away. "It's painful, but it's bearable." Riley said. Everyone smiled. "Okay, we should go again." Bella said. "Emmett." Riley said, moving out of the way. "I'm good." Elizabeth's mate said, stepping back.

"There's sweet music here that softer falls and petals from blown roses on the grass." Bella read the story to Landon and Renesmee who were curled up in Renesmee's bed at Edward, Bella, and Riley's house. "Or night dews on still waters between walls of shadowy granite in a gleaming pass." Elizabeth looked down at her son to see him fast asleep. "Music that brings sweet sleep down from the blissful skies." Renesmee was asleep by the time Bella finished the book. Bella reached over and turned off the light.
The twins went to get up. "Mom? Aunt Elizabeth?" Renesmee said. "Hmm?" Bella hummed. "Did Aunt Alice and Uncle Jasper run away because we're gonna die?" Renesmee asked. Elizabeth's eyes widened. Who put that idea into a child's head? "No. I think they left to keep us safer." Bella said, trying to reassure her daughter. "That's what all these other people are here for, too. I'll never let anybody hurt you." Bella kissed her on the head. "Go to sleep." She whispered. Elizabeth kissed both Landon and Renesmee on the head before the twins left the room.
They walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. They looked at the note Alice had left for them. "I wish Alice was here." Elizabeth said. Bella nodded. "It's strange. Physically, I feel like I could demolish a tank. Mentally, I just feel drained." Bella said. Elizabeth wrapped an arm around her sister. "I'm here for you, Bells." She said as Riley entered the room. "I'll leave you two alone." She said, getting up off the couch and leaving Bella's house.

Bella walked into the living room with Landon and Renesmee. Landon ran and jumped into Rosalie's arms. Elizabeth looked over to see Bella standing in the doorway with an unreadable expression on her face. She noticed Elizabeth looking at her and jerked her head to the side, gesturing for Elizabeth to follow her. Elizabeth leaned in and pressed a kiss against Landon's cheek before following after Bella. Rosalie and Emmett watched her leave with worried looks on their faces.
Once they were out of earshot of everyone else, Bella handed Elizabeth a yellow folder. "What's this?" Elizabeth asked. "Passports. Paperwork. Everything Landon would need." Bella responded. Elizabeth opened the folder. "Why are there only two?" She asked. "One's for Landon. The other one is for Angela." Bella said to her twin. Elizabeth's head snapped up and she looked at Bella in confusion. "So, that means..." She trailed off. "We're not making it out of this alive." Bella said. Elizabeth shook her head. "No." She said, feeling tears start to brim her eyes. Bella nodded, sadly.

"The snow is sticking." Bella said as Elizabeth and Edward approached her in the kitchen at the Swan house. "Hey, we still have today." Edward said. "I hope Billy and Sue take good care of Charlie." Bella said, looking at the couple in the dining room with Charlie. "Bella, no one's giving up here." Riley said, coming into the room and kissing his mate on the temple. "Alright. Present time! Let's go!" Charlie called out. "Seth, Leah, stop eating." The waved the four in the kitchen into the room. Elizabeth walked in and sat down on Rosalie's lap.
"Seth, you start. Get it going." He grabbed a present and handed it to Renesmee. "Well, Dad, we didn't have time to wrap yours, but here it is." Bella said, handed the envelope to Charlie. "It's from all of us." Elizabeth said, gesturing to her, Bella, Edward, Riley, Rosalie, and Emmett. "It's a five day fishing trip to Fraser River. It's for you, Billy, and Sue." Bella said as Charlie opened the envelope. "You leave tomorrow." Emmett spoke up.
"Wow, that's really nice. Thank you. Tomorrow. I can't leave tomorrow." Charlie said. "I made arrangements for you at work." Elizabeth said as Rosalie placed her head on her shoulder. "Sneaky." Charlie said to his oldest daughter. "And extravagant." "And non refundable, I'm afraid." Rosalie said. "You guys trying to get rid of me?" Charlie asked. No one said anything. "Cause it's working. Fraser River. That means we'll be chasing cutthroat." "We might even hook a rainbow or some bulls." Billy said.
After opening all the presents and eating dinner, it was time for the Cullens and the wolves to leave. Elizabeth turned to Charlie. "Goodbye, Daddy." She said, wrapping her arms around him tightly. "Oh, okay." Charlie said, shocked at the intensity of the hug. He wrapped his arms around his daughter. "You okay?" He asked, grabbing onto her arms as he pulled away. Elizabeth nodded. "Okay. I'll see you soon." Charlie said. Elizabeth nodded, trying not to cry. "Goodbye, Daddy."
