Imagine that Dae-su was your cousin and that he was older than you. When you were all stuck on the roof, you were thinking that you were all done for, but he kept your spirits up.
"We're going to be okay Y/n, we're going to live and get out of here, all together." Dae-su says to you. "How do you know?" You asked him.
"I know because we're strong when we're together and we're all friends so we'll do anything to keep each other alive, maybe not so much for Ji-min but you get my point." He says.
You nod and he gave you a hug, rubbing your back gently and you sat down beside him, talking with him.
You couldn't have been more thankful to have him there with you, still alive.
