First Place
Saving Neba by nj_amara

Judge: deviljooniefics

TOTAL: 96.5/100

Cover - 9.5/10
The cover is alluring. The title is clearly visible, as well as the Dragon, i.e., symbol of Neba looks magnificent.

Title and Blurb - 10/10
The title is up to the mark. The blurb's good as well, it doesn't reveal too much but it still provides an outlook of what the story is gonna be about.

Plot -  29/30
Quite an interesting plot I would say. I don't remember coming across any other novel with the same base plot. The two worlds have been described quite efficiently. Idea about how the portal worked was quite imaginative. The world of Neba has been portrayed beautifully.

Flow - 9 /10
A well steady pace has been maintained throughout the chapters. Might the adaptation of Emery with Neba is a bit fast, but provided her real life story and her emotions, it is reasonable.

Character Development - 14.5/15

Anticipation - 10 /10

Enjoyment - 10 /10

Language -4.5 /5
Emotions of the female lead are described quite well.

Comments: Appreciated the author's notes. The story's been going great, I would really like to read the further updates of this novel. Way to go author!

Second Place
Quill of Thieves by HeyLookTheSnitch

Judge: deviljooniefics

TOTAL: 88.5/100

Cover: 9/10
Cover is simple and elegant. The colour palette is pretty as well.

Title and Blurb - 7/10
The Title is accurate according to the story. The Blurb kinda disappointed me though. If you would have broken down the chunky paragraphs into small ones, it could have been better. Also, I felt like you had kinda jotted down the happenings in those paragraphs...The blurb seemed like an information bank before you read the story. It is helpful in a sense, yes, but would have been better if you don't actually reveal the happenings and rather leave them as questions for the readers to think about and eventually check out your story to fulfil their curiosity.

Plot - 28 /30
The plot is something I haven't come across. I really am dazzled by the whole new world you have created in your novel.

Flow - 10 /10
The flow was very steady and all the sequences/happenings were in order. Good job.

Character Development - 15/15

Anticipation - 8 /10
I must say that I was a bit unwilling to read on during the first and second chapters, but I actually wanted to go on exploring your novel.

Enjoyment - 8 /10
The book was surely a great read, and a quite unique read as well. I enjoyed reading the first 6 chapters.

Language - 3.5 /5
First of all, I love the vocabulary. The opening of the prologue, as well as the ending, is appreciated Author has tried to make the scene imaginative and thus has been descriptive through words. I would suggest breaking down a few longer paragraphs. Also, there are chapters which are elongated.

Comments: Again, your idea of this plot really enthralled me. Would surely try to check out your other works in the future.

Third Place
LABYRINTH by @Che_Inge101

Judge: deviljooniefics

TOTAL: 85.5/100

Cover - 8.5/10
The cover is beautiful. Though if you might have followed a bit more diverse colour palette, I think it could have been better.

Title and Blurb -  9.5/10
The title is perfect. Blurb is quite good too, it might be a bit long though.

Plot - 23/30
Scenes were imaginative and realistic. Though a bit common plot, efforts were made to give some other than usual twists.

Flow - 8/10
The pace was okay at first, but the marriage of Isabella and Noah seemed a bit rushed to me. Isabella had just met a severe fatal accident, and was suffering from the news of Noah and Amia's betrayal. In the midst of that, Noah proposes to Isabella and they get married.

Character Development -15/15
The protagonist, aka, Bella certainly had a character development. She was quite aware of her importance and the coldness with which she treated Amia after knowing about her disloyalty was reasonable. At first, I felt the protagonist was portrayed too good to be true, but in the further chapters she was more relatable and imaginative.

Anticipation - 9/10

Enjoyment - 8.5/10
Frankly, the first one or two chapters did confuse me once, but I got the hang of the novel.

Language - 4/5
A bit of spelling and punctuation errors here and there but they can be negligible.

Comments: The book is certainly a good read, and I will try to read further updates of this book.
