Its been a month. I havent seen him, even a little bit. Has he left me alone? But i dont believe that he did, i didnt even believe the rumors about him leaving.
I still believe he's here, i cant give up on him so easily. I walked up on the rooftop, took my shoes off and looked around.
"Keith?" I saw him standing there, his head looking up on the blue sky. "Hm?" He closed his eyes. "Can you really tell me what happened to Leo?"
He took a breath before saying anything else. "Maybe its time for you to know." What does he mean? I quite dont understand.
"What do you mean?" I starred to his eyes, so similar to Leo's.
"Leo has a condition, its been getting worse lately. My family has tried everything to help him get back on his foot. But it didnt seem to work at all. The thing we can only do for him is go back to China tomorrow and get surgery. Yea, im not rude as you think i am. Its just-"
He gulped, i felt him shaking and being nervous.
"I like you Charmaine, but i knew you liked my sibling so i just stayed on the side."
My eyes widened, "What?" I looked away from him, is this what has been hiding from me? The pain i felt every second i process what he said.
"Im sorry." He apologize holding my hands. "No, its fine.." i looked up teary eyed. "Here, its his napkin keep it." He wiped away my eyes.
"Thank you." I said with a slight smile. "I really appreciate how your showing your true self, makes me realize that your kinda more like you brother now." He smiled.
"Your welcome." But then he suddenly kissed my forehead. Time stopped, it felt like slow motion. The cherry blossom tree petals falling down.
"Im so sorry- i didnt mean to-"
"No its okay!" I just laughed with a worried face.
"Ah- you like my brother right, im s o sorry." His entire body was shaking as he held me. "No its totally fine! I completely understand your feelings, but let's just stay as friends for now."
We both smiled but i had to go. I picked up my shoes and put them back on. Waved a goodbye and walked down.
I kept getting flashbacks about what happened, cant i just get that off my mind?
I tried texting something to Leo, until the unexpected happened. He texted back saying.
"You know already dont you?"
Starred in shock, did he really say that? I replied to him. "Your brother told me."
"I know." And so on he told me about everything. I understood everything, but the worse part is i don't get to see him anymore.
He told me he was going back to China, forever. I was clearly devastated inside but i understand. Its for his own good right?
"Hey Leo, i wish you the best of luck for your surgery. Stay strong for me okay?" I smiled at my last text.
Wondering if I'll ever receive the calls and texts we used to send to eachother. My time is almost near, let's spend our last moments in happiness. Shall we?
