Derek had driven them to the hospital, his hands becoming sweaty. His eyes fixated on the road, he couldn't get Meredith out of his mind. Right now, she was going in and out of consciousness in his back seat. As Christina and Lexie sat with her, trying to keep her comfortable. Derek knew she was in pain and he hated it. His eyes welled up more in more with tears as they heard the two distraught voices in the back.

Meredith had fully regained consciousness, feeling her body ache from head to toe. She looked up at Christina and Lexie who wore soft smiles on their faces. Trying to hide their worry. She knew she was in bad shape. The past events replayed in her mind over and over. Beginning to now.

"He told me I was nothing," She choked, looking at them. Lexie sighed, squeezing her hand. Hearing this made Derek want to pull over and hug her.

"You're not, you're everything," Lexie spoke.

A few minutes passed and Meredith was able to compose herself. Her tears taking ahold of her again. She new they were getting closer, she could tell by the surroundings and the land marks. She couldn't help but let her eyes drop again, feeling as her body began to pull her to sleep. But she was woken up by Christina, gently shaking her.

"You gotta stay awake for me," She stammered, her voice cracked a little when she spoke. Meredith could tell that each of them were scared. Especially Derek.

"E-Everything hurts," She mumbled, here eyebrows furrowed as she gripped her chest and curled up into a ball. Her face grew pale.

"I know Mer, we're almost there alright?" Lexie spoke nervously, looking up at the road as they had just pulled in. "We're here, Look!" She added, pointing up at the hospital.

"My dad and mom are here, they know. But they're going to help take care of you okay?" He spoke nervously.

Meredith didn't care his parents new all she cared about was feeling better. She watched as they pulled up to the emergency deck and they all menuvered so the doctors could get her on the stretcher carefully. She whimpered in pain as she felt a hand lightly brush against her stomach.

"Let's get her to trauma room three!" A doctor yelled as she began to push Meredith on the stretcher. Doctors and nurses were beside her, but somehow she lost the three people she'd wanted the most.

"You're going to be okay sweety," A nurse whispered, holding onto Meredith's hand. Meredith looked around the room, her eyes wide and her body tense.

"Hi there Meredith," A familiar voice spoke Ritchard Webber. "Can you tell me where you are hurting?" He asked calmly, his voice sounding caring.

"Literally everywhere," Meredith stammered, she saw as the older man sighed, glancing up at Dr Shephard "Look, mostly my head, abdomen and my legs."

"We're going to have to run some scans alright?" Dr Shephard spoke, he looked over at her. She was responsive and in pain. Her stomach, abdomen and head hurts. As well as her joints. "We're gonna take extra care of you alright?"

All Meredith could do was nodd, She felt the medicine kick in and her pain slowly start to fade. She watched as a nurse put in an IV then after a few minutes passed another had taken her blood. After that, she sat there waiting to get the tests she needed. A familiar person had walked in, her smile big. Her eyes somehow showed worry.

"Meredith," She sighed, "I'm glad you're up!" Carolyn spoke, walking in. She was in scrubs and had looked like she'd been there for a while. "Looks like I'll be hanging with you."

"Thanks," Meredith told her. "Where did my friends go?"

"They'll be back after your scans," Carolyn told her, giving her a small wink.

"Hey rockstar!" She heard Dr Shephard spoke, walking in. His voice was loud enough to send chills down her spine. Meredith couldn't help but flinch. She knew she was safe with them, that Dereks dad wouldn't do anything to hurt her. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. You're blood test look's fine, they are also ready for your scans."

"That fast?" Caroyln asked, surprised "Alright, I'll be here when you get back."

Christipher and a few nurses, wheeled Meredith down to the testing floor.  She watched how the lights on the ceiling flashed by her. She was nervous, she had no clue what was going to happen. Internal bleeding, Broken bones? Meredith sighed, letting her eyelids close. Before she new it, they were on the floor and they began to prep for scans.

After many minutes had passed they had taken many scans and looked at them. She couldn't read the doctors face as they looked at them. She hated that, she usually could read peoples faces. Many more minutes had passed and Doctor Shephard reappeared. He looked nervous and a little scared. Something was wrong.

"It looks like you have a few broken ribs, and some internal bleeding over by your stomach. Your left hand is sprang. You also have some internal bruising. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the internal bleeding," Dr Shephard explained "Dr Webber will meet us over by the OR, that way we can get you in and out in no time."

"Thank you Christopher," Meredith sighed, gripping the sides of the bed. She watched as he nodded and began to push her out of the room.

A minute or two passed and they reached the OR floor, she was met with a very familiar face and a soft smile. Richard, her moms best friend. Meredith had none him for as long as she'd remember. He knew her since she was a baby. He was their for her family every step of the way.

"Meredith, what happened?" Richard spoke in a worried tone, he had his scrub cap on and a OR gown.

"She was attacked," Dr Shepard spoke, glancing over at him. Richard knew that it was Thatcher, he just knew.

"Let's get you fixed up Meredith," He told her gently tapping her head. Trying his best to comfort her.

After the surgery, the doctors had given Meredith lots of morphine for her pain. Knowing well enough that when she woke up she'd be uncomfortable. Derek, Lexie and Christina all sat in the waiting room, waiting for her to wake up. They all sat nervously, hoping he'd be okay when she opened her eyes.
