TEN. approving smiles from me to you

AUGUST SAT in her bedroom waiting for the call about her album.

Josh sat on the opposite side of her as she rested her head on her knees.

This album being approved would absolutely change her life. And though change had been something she'd been scared of, she had no other choice but to face the appending doom (or something absolutely glorious) that would be this album.

But before the worry of that. Josh and August still had HSM:TM:TS things to do.

They had photo shoots for season two, interviews, and so much more and because both Josh and August had been working on things beside the show, it had been a lot of them to juggle. At this point, it was rare that the couple saw each other unless it was in interviews.

August loved acting and that was her main focus. The music thing was just a part time job for her. She would have never found herself in this position if she hadn't helped Olivia write All I Want that day in the café.

August wished she could've recorded that moment on her dingy little camera because that was truly the start of something she didn't know she had within herself.

But for now, that dingy little camera sat on her self and recorded the dreadful silence that sat between Josh, August, and her phone.

Josh didn't know what to say to actually comfort her. She'd asked him to come over to get some nerves out of the way but when her arrived he was met with silence and his girlfriend with the phone next to her ear.

That's when the phone rang. August snapped her head up and instantly grabbed the phone. She stood up and answered, Josh standing close behind.

"Hello?"

"Hey, August. I just talked to the people at Republic and they said the cover along with your friend Angelina's drawing were fine, the songs are good, they do want to push the record back because another artist is supposed to be dropping a single or EP of sorts, so the album would come out in a month and two weeks if you're also game."

"Yeah! Yeah. I'm down." She smiled.

"Great! I'll let them know and I'll call you back with details about promotions and everything else."

A small conversation brewed between the two of them and once August hung up the phone, she turned with a bright smile on her face and began jumping up and down from joy and what she could assume was relief.

Josh held a wide smile as August threw her arms around his neck and he quickly caught her, spinning her around with pride.

This was the next big thing for August and she was shockingly ready for it.
