My Sun

My Sun shines bright and warms my core,

And even heats my muscles when they are sore.

She makes me smile, especially when she rises,

While the beauty of her touch always surprises.

-

When storm clouds cover her delicate face,

And rain comes down taking her shining place.

There is no need to fret for she's not gone,

She is always here from the moment of dawn.

-

When it come time for her to set and disappear,

She just moves on to spread her shining cheer.

Warming the hearts of everyone her light may reach,

Whether it's in a mystic meadow or along the sandy beach.

-

She shows happiness and love in her warm embrace,

The slightest kiss of her touch will make your heart race.

Just in her presence my heart will dance and sing,

So get ready for the joys that my beautiful Sunshine may bring...
