Run With Me

Take my hand and run with me,

c'mon, there is something you need to see.

Keep up, 'cause I run real fast,

no dwelling in the past.

-

We have so much to do, no time to lollygag.

No time to pack, you don't need to carry a bag.

C'mon, we are running late.

Hurry up, the gate won't wait.

-

We have a long way to go and not a lot of time to get there.

I pull you to a stop in front of the narrow stairs.

They lead up into the clouds, high in the sky.

I watch your face and the widening of your eyes.

-

The ground opens up for fiery pits of hell.

A soft comfy cloud, or a burning prison cell.

This journey, alone you must accept,

for only you can take the first step.

-

I urge us forward and your body begins to shake.

This is your destiny, you chose your fate.

Heaven or Hell, the choice is only yours,

I take a step back, letting you choose the course.
