HANEEFAH
I was lost in thoughts that I didn't notice Mrs Kola had entered, not until she tapped me on my shoulder."Miss Haneefah" she said , "I have been calling you for hours now and you seemed lost in thoughts"
" Oh!, Sorry ma" I quickly apologized," I was carried Away looking at that European airplane "I said pointing outside
European airplane are indeed one of the biggest airplane line.
"Well, I am sorry for the delay I had to attend to something. Family issues and all" Mrs Kola said going through some files
"Here, have it!" She said to me "that's a temporary passport, which means you'll have to renew it sooner than expected".
"Passport!?" I said shouting.
"Oh ya Allah Alhamdulilah!!!!!!' I screamed out subconsciously
I was so happy my passport was ready so many thoughts were going through my head I was so scared. I kept on looking at it over and over again.
"A temporary passport Miss Haneefah" she said smiling at me "you'll have to come back to Nigeria soon let say in the next two years to renew it then after that you'll be a given another passport which can last for a duration of 3years thereabout"
"Thank you so much ma, I really appreciate you". I said happily
Unfortunately I have to come back again to this country sooner than I expected.
"Oh please dear, you should thank Mr Samuel Ayuba he was really on my neck on this passport. For he to be this interested on you getting your passport it means you're surely a good person" Mrs Kola said to me " try and call him, I'm sure he would d be delighted to hear the good news even though it a temporary passport but it'll last you throughout your first and second year in Ghana"
I went back to the terminal to meet my family, having a mental note to call Mr Samuel Ayuba.
"I got my passport!!!" I screamed to my family
" Ah Olurun mi(my God), finally Alhamdulilah." My mother said smiling
" I should go and greet her, I need to show her my gratitude" my mom said really happy and grateful for Mrs Kola's help
"Yes mummy but she's kind of occupied now" I said to my mom
Immediately Nurudeen came and hugged me.
"Alhamdulilahi, congratulations Hanee baby we're so happy to hear this!" My uncle said taking a look at my passport
I saw a confused look on his face.
"A temporary passport?" He asked
"Yes sir, I will be back to Nigeria sooner than expected". I said to my uncle while hugging Nurudeen tightly.
"Which one is temporary passport" my mother asked looking surprised
My uncle took his time and explained it to my mother
While we were all waiting for my departure which was by 2pm
but by 1:30pm thereabout we would be called for checking in.
I decided to call my siblings to brief them on the updates so far, my flight was by 2pm so I had an hour left to explore and look around.
I spent most of my time having random conversations with my nephews not until I noticed a girl seated next to me with her luggages.
"I hope this seat isn't taken?" She asked me politely
"Not at all" I responded briefly deciding to finally look at her
