With Haneefah being surprised and shocked about her new roommate different thoughts were going through her head, although she really liked the aura and vibes the half Ghanaian, half Nigerian girl gave her right from the airport. She was just so flabbergasted to have her as a roommate.

what a blessing in disguise indeed.

"Evening, welcome  " said the girl.

"You must be my roomie,.........???" she stated

Haneefah could tell she was asking for her name

" Haneefah, I am Haneefah and you are??" Haneefah said, admiring how pretty the girl is. And actually beginning to think if truly she was a Nigerian

" The name's Yasmin Idris" Yasmin responded back gently sitting on her bed

"Ibrahim, Haneefah Ibrahim" Haneefah said looking around the room admiring how big and beautiful it is

"Nice to meet you Hanee" Said Yasmin

Haneefah smiled Instantly and at that moment, for once in her life Haneefah knew she and Yasmin were definitely going to be best of friends. And she was more than excited to have this friendship with Yasmin. The atmosphere was welcoming and it wasn't forced in anyway.

Haneefah kept praying that their third roomie would have this same aura so they could be the three musketeers

She was more than glad when she found out Yasmin was a Ghanaian too

She was excited and couldn't wait for them to go sightseeing together. But for now all Haneefah wanted to do was observe and not jump into any friendship. Moreover Haneefah had a Mission at hand and she won't let friendship affect her academics

HANEEFAH
After having formal introduction with Yasmin, I found out she was half Nigerian, half Ghanaian. Her father was a Fulani man. No wonder she has such fair flawless skin.

Yasmin was also on scholarship like us but she was from a very comfortable home. She was majoring in Law

From her bubbly personality I knew she had indeed picked the right course. It suits her personality so well.

I decided to start arranging my things, but first it occured to me I haven't spoken to my family. I decided to send them a message in our family's group chat on Whatsapp

"Assalamualaikum Fam, I am already in Ghana Alhamdulilah. And I have been checked in. My roomie is a Ghanaian she is very lovely. I have been so busy arranging and right now I am tired but I promise to call home as soon as I am finished. Take care family. I miss you guys already "

After sending the message to them, I continued to arrange my side of the room and place my things in other.

Immediately I was done I did my business, performed ablution and prayed

After praying I decided to settle down and rest for a bit I had so much to unpack

My phone started beeping and it was an incoming call from my mother

"Good evening ummi" I said to my mother while lieing down on the bed like I was going to faint anytime soon

"Evening my dear daughter" she responded

We spoke for about an hour, which was mostly filled with prayers

We send our goodnights.

At that moment I knew all I wanted was to sleep nothing but sleep . By tomorrow I would definitely continue my arrangements
