After meeting with Ahmed different things has been going through my head and I didn't know if he actually liked what he saw or maybe worst
"Damn, who dare says Nigerian men ain't fine!! Ahmed is perfect"
" Haneefah, the shy shy girl" Sofia said laughing at me
She kept on mocking me till we got to our room.
" I want to go see someone" Sofia said hugging me and running down the stairs
I unlocked my door and crashed on the bed. Ahmeds face couldn't leave my head..
I was nervous and kept on checking my phone, I was debating on whether or not to call him but I choose the latter. Yes he is the guy he is meant to call me not otherwise.
I heard a knock on the door and it was Jasmine. Jasmine had gone to her boyfriends place for the holidays.
"Hey boo, I wasn't expecting you today" I said giving her space to come in.
She came looking tires and sat on her bed and immediately laid down.
"Neither was I, but Bello was so busy and I was getting bored , but then I had missed you guys so much." Yasmin said
I hummed softly in response.
"So how was your date" she asked
"Well it went fine" I said
"........ And that was how he insisted on getting us uber o" I said giving Yasmin a breakdown of how today went while stuffing my mouth with the chocolate I saw in her bag.
"But he hasn't called and I am scared, what if he doesn't like what he saw or I messed up"
"Calm your nerves babe, I'm sure he is giving you time. He'll surely call" she said rubbing my back.
I stood up and walked to our bathroom I wanted to perform ablution and pray when I heard my phone ringing.
I ran to the room like speed of light.
"Oh goodness, it's Ahmed" I said to Yasmin squealing.
She smiled and nodded telling me to " pick my call"
"Uhm hi" I said
"Waalaikum salaam to you too"
"Pardon me, assalamualaikum"
"How're you, and have you gotten home" he asked
"Yes I have thank you"
"You my dear are so funny , you were literally acting like a earthworm that was poured salt" he said laughing
"Uhmm yeah?" I said feeling embarrassed
"Oh mehn, well I called you ask if you've gotten home. I'll call you when I also get back to the hotel" he said
"Take care!."
" Hotel?" I said
Oh yeah, he came for to see me, obviously he logded into an hotel.
" Yea, hotel" he said
" Name?"
"Starvile hotels" he said casually
" What!" I said
My eyes nearly bulged out. That was like one of the top notch hotels around here
"Do you want to come ma" he said
"No no no, not at all" I said way too fast
"Uhmm take care"
With that I hanged up. " Earthworm that was poured salt" I kept on pondering on that I didn't know if it was an insult or not. I surely did mess up big time
