Your breath stopped for the moment as his claws tightened on your shoulders, you shut your eyes tightly. The pressure was gone and left only a burning, you opened your eyes again and the man sat on the opposite side of the desk with his hands crossed on top of the desk.
His face had gone back to nothing.
" this is a joyous day,surely..." His voice was deep and low causing you to strain to hear him " I've waited lifetimes for you " the only other sound in the room was Toby's pocket watch ticking like a bomb.
" who are you? " you muttered quietly, your leg twitched and your neck cracked. The watch was begging to get on your nerves.
The mans voice floated through your ears with ease " We have gone by many names throughout our cycles, but these ones here know me by Slenderman" he gestured to Toby, Masky, and Hoody.
Slenderman stood up and walked calmly over to the group silently, he stopped next to Toby and placed his claws on Toby's shoulder the same way he had you. Toby's expression remained calm as Slendermans knife like fingers stabbed into the skin. Toby kept eye contact with you as Slendermans fingers dug deeper.
" you must be wondering why all of this is happening, why to you, why are you so important to this terrible place in which you were forced into making you lose your very mind" Slenderman let go of Toby and walked past Hoody to Masky and stood next to him " you are going to be the next me." Slenderman placed his hand on his chest gesturing to himself.
Your brows furrowed as the words rand around in you head with no meaning. Suddenly it clicked and you stared wide eyed at him. Your heart was as heavy as lead.
" you were trying to be killed because without me, or you, all these monsters would die" he grabbed Maskys head and shoved him forward roughly causing Masky to fall hard, but Masky never spoke up; he just stood back up and went back to his spot with his hand clenching and relaxing nervously.
" all of them are so terribly tired of their daily job of killing. They're tired, washed up, or even forgotten. Their families are dead, everyone they know is dead. They wanted you dead so that when I die this vicious cycle won't continue " Slendermans voice grew louder and the Ticking of the clock made you restless. He walked back towards you his face tearing again causing the smile to appear.
" what I'm offering you is a godly power, you won't feel pain, you don't have to live with painful memories, you emotions will be wiped. You'll be born anew, you'll be able to control everyone and everything. It's a gift, you should be thanking God for the blood that runs through you veins" Slenderman motioned you to stand, and your body couldn't stop itself from standing causing you to shriek shortly.
" why would you want to give it up? " you questioned tiredly.
Slenderman got quiet and his expressionless face stared at your for a few moments; the only sound was the clock.
" you are a smart one ( y/n )...very impressive... I will die anyway once you take up this very important job, a lifetime goes by in the blink of an eye. You will be with your love and that itself warms my, heart" he held a hand out as if for you to shake it.
You stared at the hand uneasily, you knew what shaking his hand would set into stone. You realized the reason he wanted to give the spot up was to die, he was just as tired as you are; this seemed to sweeten the deal. You just wanted all of this to be over, you just wanted to die. You have no where to go, Slenderman won't let you leave, and you won't have to remember any of this; all that pain, all the tears all of it will be gone. The clocks ticks seemed to keep pace with your thoughts.
You reached out a hand when suddenly you were grabbed, you were pushed toward the giant window behind the desk and shoved through it.
Masky fell with you, he had pushed you out at the in a last attempt to stop fate.
You fell through the air screaming, Masky was about to say something when a large black tentacle grabbed him by his torso and pulled him back into the mansion, without missing a beat a splatter of blood and gore flew from out the window and landed on you face before you landed and a fence post burst bloodily through your stomach.
