Being stuck in a museum wasn't that bad, Ahk had gotten used to it and the surroundings. But how he was able to roam around outside during the day he was finding himself a little stressed out much easier. He was so used to the museum and everything inside it that going out into the modern world when he was from ancient Egypt was a bit of a culture shock to say the least.

He was experiencing things he'd never experienced before. That and things he had experienced but it'd been so long he completely forgot what it was like.

You'd opted to walk to the museum for the nights visit this time. Ahk still wasn't used to cars and was getting a bit motion sick every time he was in one, so taking a break from that you decided to walk.

He still wasn't used to modern clothes either, so while he'd decided loose and flowy clothes like skirts and and big coats were his favourite as they felt similar to his pharaoh attire, he was still feeling a little strange without the weight of his crown, or the feeling of his beads on his shoulders. Overall having to adapt to modern life so suddenly and not knowing what the hell the tablet was doing was making him a little on edge.

As exited as he was to see the modern world, there were things about it that gave him the chills.

He could SWEAR to the gods that the world was louder. Perhaps it was the dense population of the city or the sounds of cars and machinery, but the world was definitely louder. It felt more crowded too, but that was probably because the modern cities were a lot more packed than the villages and kingdoms of the ancient times.

Needless to say, the tighter streets and smaller spaces of the modern world weren't fun for his claustrophobia, but he could handle it as long as there was at least an arms length of space around him.

You noticed this of course, over the few weeks you'd been having him stay with you while you figured out these tablet shenanigans, you'd noticed he was a lot more jumpy outside the museum. He reacted to every noise, looked over his shoulder when he sensed something behind him even if there was nothing there, complained of the loudness of the world, was skeptical to be near sharp objects.

With your modern knowledge, you figured all the stuff that had happened to him over the years must have had an effect on him. As to be expected, as after being put in a position of power, killed young, locked up in a sarcophagus for 54 years and such would clearly leave some scars. Physical and mental.

"Hey Ahk?" You began, holding his hand with your branded one as you walked down the street in the sunset.

"Yes?" He replied.

"You alright? You seem jumpy"

"Oh... yeah, I'm fine. It's just kinda loud here don't you think?"

"Well we are in the city, there's a lot of people and cars"

He looked at the busy road, and the restaurants starting to fill up with dinner guests. There was so much movement and so much going on, it was so crowded compared the much more open spaces of Egypt back in his day. Sure it was a bustling kingdom, but much more open space wise and people had more room to roam.

"Maybe we can spend some time drawing while we wait for the others to wake up, we're gonna be a bit early" you suggested.

"I'd like that. I want you to show me how you get perspective so perfect" he replied.

"Perspective can be pretty tricky to begin-"

You were cut short of your sentence when a loud scream made you jump. Turning to face it, across the road you saw what looked to be a nasty disagreement between two people outside a bar. Only sunset and people were already getting tipsy? Wow they must have some kind of wild party going on in there.
