Presley's POV

Another week passed, and today I was heading out to Jamaica to conduct the audit of their main pack and the audits they completed in the Caribbean over the years. It was also a very anticipated trip, and I couldn't wait to see my aunt Aasira and uncle Brantley. Although we weren't related by blood, some of the summer trips we would take to go down there were always memorable. They would take us to the beach, and Aasira and dad would take me and Adam hunting in the luscious forest area near the Dunn's river falls.

Charlie had initially wanted to stay back and seemingly had no interest in going with me about a month ago. But last week he had a change of mind and wanted to go with me too.

Of course, I didn't protest having him next to me while doing the audit. If anything, I was happy to have him with me. Since the full moon ceremony, he had been somewhat standoffish, and I assumed it was because I told him that I loved him. Maybe it was too soon, maybe it wasn't, but I made sure to continue my end of the deal with him. I was giving him more time and attention. Though we hadn't had sex in over a week, which was odd considering the big meltdown between the two of us and the first time we had sex without the hold of our wolves wanting to take over. We practically needed to be pried from one another.

I wondered if I had done something, and Charlie just didn't know how to bring it up to me.

I glanced over to my beautiful mate; he was staring out of the window of the plane as it descended for landing. I reached over and grabbed one of his hands out of his lap. Charlie entwined his fingers with mine and looked over at me, giving me a gentle smile.

"You okay?" Charlied asked, his eyebrows rising in concern.

"Of course." I leaned over, giving him a kiss.

I had spent a large portion of our flight talking about Aasira and Brantley, and I could tell he was warming up to the idea of being in another foreign land. I was excited to introduce Charlie to them. Just like my parents, they had been the ones to bug me about finding my mate.

I'm sure my mom probably had told them by this point, but I knew they would be excited to meet Charlie. I'm sure Abram and Harman would as well. Their packs were our family outside of blood, and I wouldn't have it any other way. They supported my mom and dad before it was widely accepted for Omega's to be treated the same as other pack members, and I was forever grateful for them.

After this audit, since Charlie wanted to go with me, I made sure to plan a surprise. I wanted to take him back to his home to visit with his family and his pack. I wondered how long I could keep it a secret from him, seeing as they would announce the flight and our tickets 'home' said Venice on them. I couldn't wait to see his reaction when he got to see his family. I knew he missed them dearly, and every time that he would talk to them, he had a sad look in his eyes.

I wanted to give him a ring I made with my dad for him, to promise him that I would always protect him and that I wanted to marry him. I couldn't wait to see his reaction to everything I had planned. I just hoped that his family had finally warmed up to the idea of us being mated.

Once the plane came to a stop, we got up from our seats, and I grabbed our bags from the overhead bin. I handed Charlie his pink backpack, and he hugged the bag to his chest, a soft blush brushed his cheeks, and he smiled at me.

"Ready to go and meet Aasira and Brantley?" I asked.

"They seem lovely, and I'm happy to see them." He gave me a toothy grin.

My heart melted for my mate over and over again with each smile he gave me. He was perfect.

"I'd say ignore them, but I don't think they can top my parent's stories of embarrassing me." I grabbed my mate's hand as we walked out of the terminal to grab our suitcases.
