There Was A Time***

There was a time
Where everything was alright
Everything seemed fine
And all my friends
Were actually mine
When a cloud parted the sun
I became a self-righteous cunt
I couldn't believe my eyes
As I watched everything I loved die
But now I bathe in hate
And wash my hair with fake
Watch all the hope fade away
There was a time
When everything seemed so right
That I wasn't so blind
And I could touch the sky
But now there is no faith
And all my love is faked
My body desicates
Those shiny eyes
Held all the world behind
Now those tiny lines
Show the world isn't liked
And all that lies behind
Is a broken lies
And half bitten cries
So try to sleep tonight
And hope they don't mind
