Sea Slave***

56 10 4

The moon is in place of my heart
And it's falling apart
The stars won't align
I've lost feeling in my spine
Everything is turning dark
I've lost my mark
I'm lost in a tidal wave
I'm turning into a sea slave
Without a map to guide
I'm stuck in self pride
The words are trapped
I've finally snapped
In the webs that cover my hope
It's time to tie the rope
Everything is distort
I'm a whisper too short
Of a battle cry
I know I'm the bad guy
And I've shed a tear too many
To hope for any
So if this ship has to sail
I won't bail
Let the winds carry me away
Take me away from this bay
Because I rather be lost
Then be crossed
I need some gain
Not to feel dead in the brain
