Author's Note: Hello everyone! SnivyLord here! Welcome to the new chapter, it's a lot so buckle up. It's mostly emotional fluff and comfort between Cheong San, Suhyeok, and the rest of the gang as Cheong San finds himself back in the safety of his friends and loved ones. Also, I will give a warning that there will be explicit sexual content, like an entire scene's worth of it in this chapter so WARNING! This is the FIRST and ONLY time it will happen in the entire story because I can't bring myself to go through one more embarrassing writing session for that. I thought the boys deserved it since everything will go to shit by the end of the chapter and the upcoming chapters anyway. So prepare yourself for lots of fluff, comfort, smut, and plot because the endgame is beginning to shape up so enjoy everyone!

This darkness.... Cheong San had felt it before. It was the momentary darkness he felt when he tackled Gwi-Nam to their deaths. Right before he woke up again in a miraculous and painful culmination of electricity and fate, this darkness was all he felt. He couldn't see. He couldn't hear. It was just... nothing... Or at least, it would have been nothing if he didn't feel something rough sliding against his face.

Was... was it a tongue? Who the hell was licking him?

Cheong San groaned and he cracked open an eye finally to see a very familiar cat give him a little bit of space to see if he woke up, "S-Silver? I-Is that you?" Cheong San opened his eyes as much as they could go to find that he was in some sort of holding cell disguised as a bedroom. It now suddenly occurred to him that he had no upper body strength to help himself up, "How long have I been out?"

Cheong San moved his head to look around the room: it was lit by a lone light at the middle of the room and the sunlight streaming through multiple windows that were graced by prison bars. The walls were a pale gray and there wasn't much else besides a stand with an IV drip leading to his arm and a heart monitor.

So he did almost die... again...

Cheong San didn't notice it before there was the soft sound of rain pattering on the windows and nowadays, Cheong San found that listening to the rain brought him great peace and comfort. Cheong San looked to his left to find a metal desk with a card on it and he could barely make out the words:

To Cheong San

Reaching out his hand to pick it up, Cheong San slowly brought to himself, opening it up to read it. That was when he felt a warm wave of happiness go through him as he read what was on the card, brightening at the amount written on it. It was a get well card from all of his friends and he smiled, laughing breathlessly at the messages and their signatures. He could recognize Daesu's scrawl and Woo Jin's surprisingly nice and quant handwriting:

Cheong San! I'll treat you to barbecue when you wake up! ~ Daesu

Don't kick the bucket too soon ok Cheong San? ~ Woo Jin

Cheong San saw Joon Yeong's and Namra's very different cursive styles, and he chuckled to himself that Joon Yeong's cursive was practically illegible like a true upcoming doctor at Seoul National University, but he could at least read:

Let's make it to Seoul National University together ok? Get well soon! ~ Joon Yeong

You taught me to care about others, but you don't care for yourself much, let's change that. ~ Namra

He saw Gyeong Su's messy handwriting and Cheong San could just make out even Nayeon's extravagant signature in the corner. Cheong San swore she made it really hard to read on purpose, as if she didn't want Cheong San to notice it was there:

If you dare die on me after keeping your promise to come back, I'll never forgive you, you got that Cheong San? ~ Gyeong Su

You swore you'd never let me forget right? Didn't you mean that? ~ Nayeon
