Jungkook

I only need to push through one more day, and it's the weekend again—my beautiful escape for vices and sleepless nights. Saturday will end a whole week since I haven't talked to Faye, and I hated each day more than the other.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Yoongi's voice startles me, making me drop my cigarette on the carpet.

"Fuck."

I pick it up quickly and check if I burned Yoongi's precious carpet. He does not care about many things; however, his studio is his temple. One wrong move and he'd be kicking my ass out of his office.

"I will pretend I didn't see that," he jokes and turns back to his computer, "How are things going with your little girlfriend? Did you explain to her what happened?"

"No. I did not have the chance, but I told Hobi everything."

"Cool. Now you can start an honest relationship with him. Did you not get anything I said last time?"

How much I love sarcasm – the whimsical, mocking tune of my childhood.

"Hyung, I went to her place after you left, but Hobi said she was sleeping and did not let me in. I ended up talking to him. Hopefully, he will set the scene for me, and by the time she'll be back from the holiday, I will take the lead."

"I guess that could work too. Let Hobi do the dirty work," a cocky smirk graces his lips, "You're slowly thawing out with her, Jungkook. I've never seen you like this. But I like it. And I like her too. She's feisty."

"She is, isn't she?" a dumb smile breaks on my face, "The funny thing is that she believes you can't stand her. I don't know where she got that idea from. When it's only the two of us, she's calling you Suga."

He turns in his chair to look at me with a confused expression.

"Suga? What is that supposed to mean?"

"One night, she was complaining about your attitude towards her, although I made it clear that you're joking, she thinks otherwise. She might have mentioned your lack of manners and bitter comments, and then she said that you'd get more flies with sugar than with vinegar and there's no need to be so sour to people. So that's how she decided to call you suga. From sugar. Of course, ironically."

He drops his head back, letting out an evil cackle like a maniac.

"You know what? I actually love it. It's a bit presumptuous, but I might just use it. Suga. Your girl is very creative."

Our conversation is interrupted by a few knocks at his door. I expect Jimin to come in, but instead, a blonde Korean girl is standing in front of us. Damn, I have a weakness for blonde girls with long hair.

She's beautiful. I'm not going to lie. But uncomparable to Faye. And now that I think about her again, my stomach twists in pain.
