Evelyn walks out of the elevator, and I just run a hand through my hair. She was right. I was trying to pretend and talk to her as if nothing had happened. I was trying to blind myself to the fact that she was at least in front of me.

I walk out of the building and get into my car. My grey Ferrari was parked on the side of the building's street. When I get into my car I lay my head back onto the seat and sigh. "Who was that girl?" A voice sends me into shock and I look to the passenger's side to find the youngest of my siblings, Brody.

His small 7-year-old figure sat next to me, with a tablet in hand. "What are you doing in here Brody?" He looks back to his tablet and continues doing whatever it was he was doing on it. "Rose was with a boy. She told me not to tell you." He explains. "So she told me to sit in here until you got out of your meeting. I roll my eyes at Rose's actions. "Typical."

"Alright bud, put your seatbelt on." Brody sets his tablet on his lap and puts it on. "You never answered my question, Gray." Brody brings up. I turn the engine on and look over at him. "She's a business partner." I keep it simple. Not like I was going to run down the fact that I had broken her heart and betrayed her.

And how she hates me.

"Why was she crying?" I let a breath out as I closed my eyes. "Focus on your tablet Brody. Please." I say dodging the question. He just stares at me, pleadingly waiting for an answer. "She just had a bad day bud." My answer pleases him and he goes back to his tablet.

From the moment I arrived, it seemed I'd only upset her even more. The only thing I've accomplished is making her cry. If I could, I would go back in time and have never left. I would've never let my past narcissism blind me.

I would have never hurt her.

(The next morning)

"Good morning bitch one and bitch two." Adrien booms as he walks into the kitchen. Adrien was the middle child. The age order from oldest to youngest was me, Rose, Adrien, and then Brody. But sometimes I question whether Adrien and Brody should switch roles...

"What in fucks name are you wearing?" Rose's concern makes me turn around to grab food and look at Adrien. What in the hell...

He wore a robe in the color pink that said Baddie on the sleeves. "I found it in your closet dear sister. It's quite comfy." He teases as he brushes past us to grab food. "You sure you're not gay?" Rose asks under her breath. I look at her and smirk, shaking my head.
